great sounding, solid and very reliable headphones – I got these headphones by complete accident. I had actually purchased a pair of Marley's on ear headphones. On excitingly receiving these headphones I discovered something terribly depressing. That I have a large head. Look I knew I had a large head....navigating doorways and other openings had always been a trouble but when i discovered that i could not fit these headphones onto my noggin properly I was terribly despondent.

In a desperate attempt to find a solution I contacted Marley with my situation. It was until several weeks later that I received a response. A package in the mail from Marley with a pair of these beautiful Marley Destiny TTR's.

Obviously these are well constructed metal headphones. They're comfortable, balanced and sound great. Of course the confusing thing is the noise cancellation and the fact when you turn it on you get an altogether difference output to when listening to them passively.

Its strange contrast and i find myself not wanting to waste the battery just using them passively.

The biggest complaint I have about his headphone outside of the $400 cost (that yes I didn't pay) is the fact they have a crapton of leakage. Like when I'm on the bus and i'm blaring out the My Little Pony theme song at full volume I've had people outside the bus turn and look at me strangely (and that not because of clown makeup I wear either ok)

On a serious note yes these things have a bit of leakage and yes you'll be forced to play them at a fairly medium level in order to avoid annoying your fellow travellers (this is the worst sin of travelling in the book of chugs - I swear the you will be smoted terribly if your one of those b**tards that listen to rap on $10 tinny speaker on the bus)!

Anyway for home use these are great as well as on the plane. I've fallen asleep several times using this headphones on the plane, without even using music. The noise cancellation is powerful and well implemented.

If you can get your hands on these second hand they are worth the price.

A great achievement for the money – The Marley TTR headphones are very well made and presented in a way that exudes class yet hits the 70s reggae note perfectly. The sound is large, fast clean and open. The bass is solid and deep without being overly bloated. The other vital point is the fact that the TTRs are comfortable despite their weight Compared to higher priced noise cancelling headphones that are now world famous they stand up better than I anticipated( no names mentioned ). I do own a pair of the product that will remain nameless. Further to this point I am still happy with the no name headphones after hearing the Marleys.

For $299 the Marleys are worth buying. Price, looks, sound.
