Metabo SBZ 14.4 Impuls / SBZ 18 Impuls
1 review
Take up the 3 year warranty option – I purchased a triple pack - 18V hammer drill LT + impact driver + 125mm grinder. Both hammer drill & grinder made in Germany, impact driver made in China They all appear very gutsy with the 4 AH batteries they come with. It would be good if the kit came with a carry case instead you get a soft travel type bag. The impact driver has 3 torque settings which is very useful.
The drill has an impulse function which for me is a waste of time.
Unfortunately the hammer drill burnt out after drilling 7 x 12mm holes in steel (needed to drill 8)? very disappointing as it was used on a job 2 hours from town so I couldn't purchase another to finish. This cost me double what the whole kit was worth.
The grinder is powerful but have doubts on how long it will last. The on/off switch is difficult turn on and the rotating battery maybe a week point.
I would not purchase Metabo again - not for the price as you can get better drills for less. Grinder is very powerful for a cordless tool and is 125mm Hammer drill burnt out - was fixed under warranty, expensive

Don't buy the LT 18V drill, not enough power, good for handyman work not industrial duty, only 60Nm of torque.
You will be disappointed with the LT drill
