Quiet tires, Improved Handling :-) – I've recently installed the energy mxv 8's 225/50r17 replacing all 4 Dunlop SP 9000's k in my Camry. The ride has become smoother the braking distance s have improved. My overall handling seems to be better. Michelin's are rarely available in the Pakistan markets where dealers generally push Bridgestones and Yokohamas compared to the more pricey Michelins.
LONGEST life - Highest mileage in my 39 years of driving ! – I have a Toyota Aurion Presara - have done 275400 km since new and only on the second set of Michelin Energy MXV8 tyres (size 215/55/R17) I have just heard that they are superseded by XM2 Energy by Michelin .big pity . I have plenty of rubber left on this second set since new - Extraordinary . I run tyres at minimum of 38 PSI to 40 PSI… Read more
and do a lot of gravel /country driving at speed limits .
In fact my tyre man at Commercial tyres in Bayswater (Wayne ) was also amazed when i got the first set changed a couple of years ago !
Best in the premium tourer range – i have a 2009 Honda Accord v6, just done 94000 kms, no punctures, even wear, quiet tyres, look these tyres dont act like a Michelin pilot sport 2 or 3 but thats not what you want when driving an accord anyway, These tyres are great in the wet and have good stopping distance in both wet and dry, i did say good not great the quiet smooth ride with… Read more
the confidence i have premium brand tyre on the road sometimes miss the sporty feel of a performance sport tyre, but i do drive an accord anyway!
MXV8 Rocks – it is a fantastic set of Tyre and definitely worth spending money on. i am driving an Aurion Sportivo in Melbourne weather from 84000 km up till now 104000 when i bought the car second hand. i could not believe my ears when the tyre expert found out that the tyres are still the original ones and has done more than 100000 kms. its simply unbelievable and i seriously recommend it.
Excellent – Michelin Energy MXV8 make me smile on the inside ,while I drive. I am glad that I bought them and probably will go for the same next time. I like driving on them ,my Wife ( next to me ) seems happy,my child sleeps in the back, well as ever. MXV8 gave my car easy ,yet sure, safe feel handling and more comfy, quiet ryde. I hope they'll last for… Read more
long enough !!!!!!!! Pros: Handling. Comfort. Quiet.Pillow ride with just enough road feed back . I don't have any .
ordinary looks coud be a neg to those who find it important.
OK – These are a major step backwards for Michelin from MXV3s &2s. Wear was Ok with 1/2 wear at about 18k (replaced them at this point - Dragons - as needed more wet grip). Wear Average grip levels from a premium tyre.
Excellent – I'm from Philippines - Tropical Country (sun/rain/pothole roads) Formerly Used Goodyears NCT3 / Yokohamas S306s / Bridgestone Turanza GR80s I thought no other tire would top the Bridgestones But the Michellin MXV8 is G R E A T! Using it now on a 2001 Civic VTEC Top speed was 160kmh - no vibrations and very stable I'm buying another piece… Read more
for my spare so I can do full rotation and enjoy these tires for a long time. 1) Prestige: Your rollin on Michellins man!
2) Quality: Living up to it's name - Comfort, but an another understated quality is it's ability for Performance
3) Grip and Braking has not been an issue so far, and I think the composition of its rubber seems tougher than what I used before: Bridgestone Turanza GR80 or Yokohama S306 Pricey, but premium is well spent on above Pros.
Excellent – The MXV8's give a good ride, are quiet and steer well. Steering and stability at higher speeds is important for me and the MXV8's were great. I could not get them again in my tyre size 205x55x16 as they seem to be discontinued. I've just recently replaced them with Michelin Pilot Preceda PP2's which were a lot cheaper. I don't like it when tyre… Read more
companies change tyres too often because when you need to replace one or two due to some sort of damage you will find that they may not be available any more and you can end up having different types of tyres on your wheels. Wear.......I got about 50 th Km on our MY04 Liberty. I didn't dislike anything about them.
