Miele S 712-1

the best vacuum cleaner I've had – I've been using it for the last 10 years and its been great. it works perfectly on both carpet and floorboards. Has great suction but not very quiet though. The quality is good and my housemates like it too but the dog barks at it all the time so I had to get a new dog.

Excellent – This is an excellent product. Not too expensive, given the quality you get and it is a product that does a great job, is easy to use and lasts. Mine is still going strong after 4 years however, if and when it does go to vacuum cleaner heaven, I will no hesitation in rushing out to buy another Miele. Plus, Miele have a kids vacuum which looks like the proper ones, which actually suck - how good is that!! Get your kids helping! My vacuum is awesome. The hose is fantastic and very very rarely "twists". Mine is 4 years old now and worth every penny I paid for it. I have not treated my vacuum gently - it gets bumped into walls and dragged around and after 4 years it is still going strong. It has wheel which go in every direction so it is super easy to navigate. It has a long cord which is handy. The rods are telescopic which helps with storage. It has an indicator which shows how full the bag is. It has great suction power and is excellent on tiles, timber floors and carpet. I bought a brush attachment for mine as most of my floors are timber. I find that I very rarely use the turbo head which came standard with the cleaner and that the brush attachment is perfect for my timber floors, my tiles and my carpet. It has on-board tools, which is handy. Nothing - still very happy after 4 years

Excellent – This was my first Miele product and after seeing how much thought was put into it, I am renovating my kitchen using Miele appliances. Excellent product and even though the hose dissapointed me, it still shows no sign of wear. Well designed product. Looks great. Love the 'slow start' feature. Great suction. The plastic hose feels cheap and after 3 years of use the cord rewinder does not always bring the cord back on the first attempt.
