Love it – I got this vacuum for half rrp on miele website. It is fabulous. I read that it is a little heavy and that's true but it's something you notice and then don't think about! I love the clip on attachments, they cleaned inside my window frames really well. It has a long cord which is awesome. Now all I need is someone to use this wonderful appliance in my house and I will be set! Easy to use Haven't found anything

vacuum cleaning was an Olympic sport, this machine would be drug tested every time.

The machine's ability to separate particulate matter from carpets and flooring and place them in the bag are flawless. In fact if every single home used this machine regularly (2 to 3 times per week) it could spell the end of the professional carpet cleaning industry.

When showing people this machine in action in there home or business they are amazed and no doubt I could sell them one after one demo.

Most reviews on other sites confirm this and to be honest it is actually thrilling and exciting to turn it on and start vacuuming and this I assume would be the greatest compliment a Vacuum Cleaner designer could ask for. Everything. If you find it a little heavy, get a friend to have a go. They'll love it. May make one a little sad about ever using anything else,

Would not recommend – I find this product very heavy and not very good at suction. Very difficult to manoeuvre over carpet and rugs in particular. Does not pick up everything particularly on carpet on rugs. Constantly have to go over again and again. Does however pick up the dog hair exceptionally well and the light at the front helps immensely with that. Light on the front good for picking up dog hair. Heavy, hard to manoeuvre.

top-end Dyson doesn't work as well as this Miele. You wool not be disappointed. All users have rated it 5 stars. Sucks everything, dual motor works simultaneously and adjusts automatically! A little on heavy side, but I don't care!

Forget the Miele Cat n Dog! This is the best vacuum ever! Must have for pet owners – Had used this vacuum in store when working briefly at Clive Peeters. Amazed at what it would pick-up, even after the cleaner just passed. Got a great deal (cost) on a new one for our own personal use. Wow! Easy to use controls on handle - you can turn on/off here, as well as the power-head.

Also have a blue Miele 5210.. Following behind that with this one, it's amazing what you can still hear being picked-up - and the 5210 is no slouch in the cleaning department either.

The power brush switches off very quickly should it grab something it shouldn't, and then it's easily removed.

Recommended this vacuum to a friend who has a home cleaning business... She's amazed (and also disgusted) at what this thing removes from carpet!

Only downside are it's maybe a little heavy for some ladies, and the paint finish scratches very easily.. I'm more worried about bumping it, than our furniture!

The external hose can also be a little hard to use - you have to place the vacuum on a particular side to be able use it easily.. That's what the 5210's for, I suppose. Best that I have ever used – This is a very high quality vacuum cleaner. It has very strong suction that is automatic but can also be adjusted to lower power, should the need arise (eg. on a smaller rug). Picks up dust very well. Most effective vacuum cleaner that I have ever used. Made in Germany. Supposed to last 20 years (on average). Expensive, even after on-line discount. Miele vacuum bags and replacement filters are also expensive, but can be bought cheaper on-line.

Excellent vacuum cleaner – I cannot say enough about how brilliant the vacuum is. It has great suction, is easy to use, in fact l go as far to say that it is so good l think a women designed it...functionallity is great! I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who wants a quality product that works well. Easy to use, maneuverable, good suction. A wee bit heavy but not unwieldly.

Best sucker ever!! – Best ever vacuum! Love the swivel, the handy controls, the ability to switch from carpet to floor without stopping. The variable suction panel is a gem. Despite it's size the bag holds seemingly endless amount of dust etc. It is a bit on the heavy side but that's not a problem. never thought could be trapped in the carpets! It came with plenty of different heads for various uses. The hose comes away from the actual unit so you can still use it to vacuum the car and the hard to reach places. The extension also is long enough to vacuum the fan on the roof! It is quite heavy, but compared to the others I tested in the store maneuvers very well!!! It has a cord that easily reaches every inch of my regular sized home and is quiet enough. The carpet feature aggravates the fibers to get right in an retrieve dust that other vacuums will not get.
