Mother's Choice Avenue Hi Lo

Uncomfortable for my baby – We bought the Hi Lo highchair and although it is sturdy and has the option to adjust height which is great for different ages, I find that the angle of the seat is uncomfortable for my baby as he is not sitting up straight. He keeps trying to sit upright but can't stay that way. Would be better if the angle of the seat was adjustable. Due to this issue food also falls straight down his tummy instead of onto the tray.
More negatives that positives really because it is also hard to clean as it is difficult to remove the cover and there are lots of spots for food to fall under the cover as well so it takes more than just a quick wipe to clean. Adjustable height and removable tray Reclined seat which is uncomfortable, and hard to clean
Difficult to Clean – As a high chair this product is functional, it is very stable, it has a safety harness that my 14 month old can't get out of, it is height adjustable, folds up, and has a removable tray and cover. But... As a practical device it is difficult to keep clean, there are numerous nooks and crannys as a result of the hinges that allow the legs to fold up as well as parts around tray. The stitching on the seat cover also creates crevices that food gets caught in, all of these things pevent what should be a quick wipe over with the sponge. The cover does come off albeit with some difficulty and can be put in the washing machine. For some reason food also seems to get under the seat cover where there are again more nooks for food to get stuck.
The ability to fold the chair up is practical but there are some disadvantages; with the chair folded and seat fully raised it is top heavy and topples over easily. Lowering the seat helps but my toddler will still pull it over if she tries to climb on it. If you intend to fold the high chair when not in use it should kept away from toddlers who like to climb and or pull on things. Staple when unfolded Does not wipe clean easily, top heavy when folded
Glad i got this one over the Ikea one – Everyone was telling me that the ikea high chair was the best one and that's the one i should get. However after looking at it they just looked so uncomfortable and unstable. I then came across the HiLo from Mother's Choice and have found it to be the perfect chair and my daughter loves being in it. She is happy to sit there while i am working in the kitchen etc...
It is easy to clean and easy to use. It has a removable tray that you can put in the dishwasher and the seat can be moved to multiple levels, the seat also tilts which makes it easy to feed bottles.
The seat is very comfortable (my daughter has even fallen asleep in it before).
It also has a 5 point safety harness which keeps them very safe, one feature that the Ikea one didn't have which was the main reason i was turned off it.
Overall i am very happy with this chair. It also looks great! Safe, Comfortable and easy to clean Could be bulky if you don't have a lot of room in your place
