Screen cracked
Great phone – Have had this phone 4 months now and i am very impressed with it have dropped it good few times still fine really tough phone as my friend was drunk one night and started throwing his Razor M against the wall he had to of banged it of the wall at least 10 times without a cover.. still fine. only problem i have with it is the camera as the… Read more
iphones take better pics but not as colorful as the M though, but over all great phone( touch wood). The look of it, very fast, tough phone Camera could be better
I love this phone – The man in the Telstra shop recommended I try this phone after I brought back by week old samsung galaxy because I was not happy about having to charge it twice a day (faulty or just 4G smart phone overheads?). I love that you get to set up as many or as few screens as you need, with its Kevlar back its pretty tough (although I now have a phone… Read more
cover to be safe) Good battery (well better than some others), all features easy to use cant use wireless tethering!! for some reason I can only use it as a modem with a USB cable to the PC
Not quite as tough as it says – I have had this phone for about 18 months now. I bought this one because I am prone to dropping my phones & I wanted one that was tough. Unfortunately for me, this one can also crack if dropped with enough force onto a concrete gutter. I will say though, that it does only have a small crack up the side. I have found it reasonably easy to use,… Read more
like most new electronic items, you need to learn how to navigate around it. The screen is large & easy to read, the camera is not too bad for it being in a phone & the video recording is good as well.
Battery life is better than all of the other branded smart phones we have in the house. I charge my phone the least out of all of the family.
Over all, I am please with the phone Light weight, good battery life, easy to read screen Not unbreakable
It's a little bit different – After being annoyed with iPhones and Samsungs I thought I'd try something different!. This phone is slim, has a large very clear AMOLED screen, has a reasonably quick dual core 1.2MHz processor, can hook up to TV via. HDMI cable which is great to play games or surf the net (who needs a SMART TV?). Battery life is not so good but what smart phone… Read more
is? Battery is none replacable which is a negative, also camera quality is not great.
Don't bother buying one if your with Optus and expect to use it outside a city as reception is poor or very slow. Screen size & clarity, HDMI output, Micro SD memory capability camera is dissapointing, non replaceable battery
so light and bright! Sexy phone! – This phone is great so far! So thin and light, but tough. Has been dropped once, but totally fine. Easy to use, good battery life. A little more confusing to work than a Windows phone, but I'm sure you get used to it. Great phone! Nice large screen too, and nice and bright even in the day. thin and light, durable a little more difficult to understand than a Windows phone for me.
Grow to love it actually – Bought this phone thinking the iphone4s was the go(but screen too small for my eyes), and everyone was boasting about the Samsung Galaxy S2...well after a few weeks or so i have to say that the RAZR is a great phone..its extremely fast...has excellent internet..large bright screen( even in day light)....build quality is made for those who are not… Read more
too worried about rough handling etc..im so convinced the phone is better than the others at the moment...the battery in the new RAZR MAXX is better, but if you use smart actions you still get a full day out of it(of heavy usage)..i suggest you buy a small portable battery pack if its a problem...Otherwise this phone excellent and you wont regret it... Bright large screen in daylight, never stalls, fast cpu and very light and thin to fit in your pocket Battery life is the same as other smart phones..use smart actions to extend battery life otherwise get a small battery backup for it and keep it for those emergencies
I'm impressed – Motorola has delivered a spectacular piece of technology into the market of mobiles. This has got to be the thinest smartphone in the world at a boasting 7.1mm. The 1.2 GHz dual core processor makes RAZR a snappy phone and the 4.3 inch super AMOLED ( Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) hd display is large and produces extremely vibrant… Read more
colours and text. Factors which let this phone down is the 1080p video capture and the battery life. the video camera may be full HD but its probably the worst 1080p footage i've ever seen recorded on a smartphone but hey, its a camera built into a phone so thats why there are other alternatives such as DSLR's and cam corders. Battery was mediocre. It doesn't last me through a day which it will be used for the whole time but it lasts a school day. Photo taking will be great and auto-focusing is fast and the outcome of it is crisp on close up subjects. Therefore, I can say that motorola has impressed me and they have crafted a splendiferous smartphone. I can recommend it to anyone who wants a great reliable smart phone.
NOTES:
- Ice-cream Sandwich update has not arrived to the motorola RAZR ( I think its only in Australia ) yet.
- If you like this phone i strongly recommend you purchase the same version of this phone, the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX if you want nearly double the battery life but a bit extra added thickness. Thin, great price, display Poor battery life, Video capture quality
The Razr is phenomenal – Oh my! I had no idea smart phone could be so..... smart. The operating system is fast and super easy to set up. The touch screen is remarkable, as the icons seem really close to the surface (like you are actually touching them...) and it is really responsive. Given that I am no tech-guru, I found this phone and operating system to be really to… Read more
use, as it designed to work really naturally.
The synching with my email, facebook, contacts was swift and easy to do.
Physically, it is really thin and light. And it can take a good hit without doing any damage (I'm a mum of toddlers, so yes, this has been tested....). It's also pretty waterproof, as a spit water bottle all over it has had no effect. Deceptively tough and powerful
Best phone ive owned! – Love this phone! Its so easy to use, th screen is big so makes reading text easier. Ive never had any issues *touch wood* I was worried about it being fragile but its such a tough phone! Battery doesnt last all that long but being a smartphone and being on it often im not surprised! Ive had a Motorola Backflip before this and the Razr is SUCH a… Read more
