Navman S45

Navman S45 and S50 - Performance – I have 4 Navmans, 2 x S45 and 2 x S50. All have worked very well for me, with recalculating routes on the fly. Signal strength can be affected by tall builds in CBD areas, but with a little patience, all is fine. I like the large screen, but the battery life is short. User interface is the best. I tried my sister's Tom Tom, and couldn't even load a destination! Updated maps are expensive. You can get aftermarket software and maps on the internet though.

great when it works – just had to purchase my 3rd gps in 18months 1st navman s45 died after 4 months was replaced by dick smith under warranty 2nd navman s45 made it past 12 months and died no more warranty same fault as before can't seem to find satellite under a clear blue sky i have changed brands to garmin was dearer and takes a bit to retrain to new system so far so good easy to use stopped working
