Nemox Junior

Solid little workhorse – Once you get used to working with the pressure gage it runs beautifully. Top little unit, running strong for many years now and still producing great coffee. Well worth considering.

Disappointed - low pressure, slow & poor crema – My Breville Cafe Roma espresso machine is on the way out with seals leaking etc so when I saw that the very reputable Nemox Junior was on sale for much the same price as a new Breville, I thought I'd try it. why? Well, it has a boiler as well as a thermoblock and a pressure gauge which you can manipulate for both steam and coffee. Or so I thought. As it turns out, it's a nice enought looking machine and has all the promised bits n pieces but it just doesn't deliver a decent coffee. I get a better thicker and more dense cream from the 8 yr old Breville than from this 2012 model Nemox. I thought at first it could be a practice issue - settling in problems, but neither my partner nor I can seem to get it to push out a decent coffee. The coffee remains thin, watery and with no crema at all. At the moment it's in the cupboard and I'm using the Breville till it gives up the ghost.... looks good, feels like good quality Its a coffee machine and it just doesn't make good coffee...
