Excellent – If you like to catch some good pictures whether is outdoor or indoor activities, this will be the thing to capture all the beautiful moments. Before you go screaming about the price, this is a professional range so it is expected to be some what $2K for it and if not $1800 on ebay. As it comes with the tripod stand holder, I recommend using it with it as the weight is that heavy if you plan to use it hand held. Lense is compatible with FX. 5 stars if you already know that weight is not a concern here and you want the best out of Nikon. Sharp, fast lense F2.8, VR Too heavy to be used without a tripod, Expensive

Excellent – This is a fantastic lens and one of Nikon's best. The image quality throughout the entire 70 to 200mm range is exceptional. Couple the super sharp resolution with vibration reduction and you have a fantastic lens. It is big but you are getting a lens with some superb glass in it. The bokeh is very nice and this lens can even be used for portraiture.

If you buy this lens, you will be very happy.

With the lens shade attached it becomes quite an imposing lens although not as much as the 200-400VR. Speed of focus.

Quality of images shot with this lens. Super sharp.

Vibration Reduction.

35mm, DX and FX compatible. Heavy after a while using it.
