Good portable game console – My experience with the Nintendo DS Lite was good because of it's, long battery life, sleek design, fairly light, Game Boy Advance Game Slot, Pictochat (Social media using Bluetooth like connection)and it's DS Download Play (Multi-player Integration) where if one person doesn't have that specific game the other person that does can share using the… Read more

DS Download Play so both people can enjoy the game*. * Game must have multi-player option. Pictochat is like a social networking option where you can talk wireless to other Nintendo DS whatever make or model only if in a certain range. Some games allow you to connect to the internet and play..... Locally, Regionally and International with other players owning a DS Lite also any make or model. WPA, WPA2 and WPA2 Enterprise connections with DS Lite may not work except for WEP connections which can be a times frustrating. The stylus is almost not needed when you can just use your fingers to navigate around the screen. Another good thing about the DS Lite is the charging times. In my opinion when a DS Lite battery is "dead" and you charge it to full power it takes for me about 45 mins approx*. * Universal and International chargers may vary in charging times.n There are two screens on the DS lite which is very helpful in terms of playing really complex games which makes games so much easier to play then single screen portable consoles. There is a microphone located near the top part of the bottom screen and the bottom part of the top screen which is very fun to use in microphone used games. There is also 2 lights indicating if your low on battery, (red) if you are connected to the internet or connected to another DS (flashing green) and if you are charging your DS Lite (orange). (Please note, when your DS Lite is fully charged, the charging light will be turned off. More of the good things of the DS Lite is that the DS lite is RSA Secured preventing hacking. Then there is the Game Boy Advance Slot allowing to play your nostalgic GBA games on your DS but the GBA game will disable the front screen while playing the GBA game in "Slot 2" it revolutionizes the DS allowing you to play previous version games on a DS Lite*. * All versions of DS have the same GBA feature. The only bad thing of the DS Lite is it's poor graphics in some Nintendo DS games. Good, efficient and fun Poor graphics

Excellent – The Nintendo Dual Sreen Lit version is definitely the more attractive and functional upgrade from the original Nintendo DS. It's sleek and attractive while being durable (I have dropped mine many times and it hasn't broken, my cousin even dropped it in a puddle and it still works) It has stylish curved edges and an overall nice size and weight. It… Read more

fits the average palm (but it's sadly a little too big to fit in your pants or jacket's pockets comfortably. It has a great range of games available and can play your old NDS games AND Gameboy Advanced games. Attractive, functional, battery lasts for ages! Bright screen and loud sound Screen is low resolution, but great for the games it carries

Good – Its a good game to have in hand for children to play whilst in the car there are also some good educational games such as brain train available which get the children thinking and also they enjoy playing them. I do have to limit the time my son plays on his as they are addictive and he would often rather sit inside playing on it instead of going… Read more

They also make your children zombies and don't encourage interaction with other children. Also playing them is addictive for children.

OK – The nintedo ds is not worth buying if you already own other consoles, it is more for youinger children and costs to much to go out and buy all the games you want. it is good because yopu can take it anywhere with you and play games wiht other people Nintendo ds is portable, comes in various colours, hundrouds of different types of games to choose… Read more

from, easy to use and can be used by children of all different ages games for the nintendo ds are expensive, really kiddish and not really for adults, costs a lot of money just to buy one, get dirty really easily and can lose the games / accessories easily,

OK – Overall opinion, the ndsl is good, its alot better than any released before its date, if your lite in the pocket then the ds lite is for you :) The nintendo d s lite is light !! its small and has two display screens. As the nintendo gameboy series (game boy, game boy colour, game boy advance) all only have one screen. The orgional nintendo ds has… Read more

proven to be a bit too bulky and has had a few techniqual problems so its great that nintendo brought out the ndsl; Still not perfect, most of my friends have problems with the touch screens being faulty, they cost about $80 in stores to repair which sets a childs pocket back a little.

OK – Every nintendo fans best friend the nintendo DS lite has a much more sleek and nicer look than the original Nintendo DS although while we have upgraded to a nicer overall appearance nintendo has failed to deliver a sturdy opponent to the original DS. The screen does easily get scratches which can make gameplay much harder overall to play, so when… Read more

you play any game that relies on the bottom screen you will ultimately suffer greatly as the stylus will get stuck on each scratch leading to growing frustration. Game selection is rather broad so there is alot of choice out there. Consider also purchasing a screen protector with your DS Dual screen, easy to hold Screen scratches and smudges easily

Hours of fun – This was my first hand console upgrade from the gameboy. I found it fits perfectly in 2 hands making for easy playing of games. The colours are good, and the touch screen option makes for more precise game playing. I liked that you could chose the console cover and that accessories are readily available. This console makes for hours of fun, But cannot use the games for upgraded versions.

Excellent – Prefer this over the Playstation. Versatile. Much wider reach and variety of program genre for its price. Life is more interesting for it. =P Affordable w/o being over the top. Platform on which to access a host of game genre from kid to granny. Multiplayer capability allows "some" interaction rather than gaming in isolation. Facilitates a host… Read more

Great fun for the kids – This console is great fun for kids, but there isnt many games for older genres. The console does have some good games though, one problem is: the graphics aren't too good at all. Even though, it is enjoyable to play. But, they dont seem to last too long, I had mine for a year and then the screen starting making strange colors eg: red would become… Read more

Excellent – The DS is great fun, and there are lots of great games out there. They are getting cheaper now because later versions are out and the 3DS is coming next year. It is worth getting just to play Mario Kart. Portable gaming. Excellent games - especially the Zelda games, Professor Layton and Mario. I like the 'cartoony' graphics. I am left handed,… Read more

Excellent – This is a great product. The best gaming console as you can use it anywhere and it is suitable from kids right through to adults. So many things! Excellent – A nintendo ds is a must have for long car trips or just for fun. Both the kids love to play it and dad (and mum) sneaks in a game here or there too. second game slot, games can also be downloaded from other Ds's for multiple players. Nintendo Ds Lite can be played everywhere even when it is being charged. Battery life depends on the game an also the brightness setting for the screens and the sound settings. Also Players can join Chatrooms and talk with other people within range. Excellent – The Nintendo DS Lite is a really good console to have. It really comes in handy when you have to fill in some time, but don't want to lug around a heavy book or a pile of magazines. Good – I think this is the best portable gaming console. Nintendo always make great quality products and engaging and fun games. This console also appeals to a wide age range. The touch screen adds a new dimension to games. Nintendo games are very high quality. Great range of games. Very reliable system. After a few years of use the touchscreen is no longer working perfectly. At the bottom left I have to place the pointer a few millimetres to the right. The screen is small and the sound is pretty average.
