Hmmm – We have gone through two of the these things (DSi). The card reader goes on them and this is in a two year period. I think you are better off saving your money and buying a Playstation 3 but don't go online with it. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your money on the DSi product. Fun for the kids when they are going. Bad warranty service from Nintendo in Melbourne, they tried to charge us for warranty work.

Good – I think that it's pretty good, especially for the camera capability. I would give this as a gift to a hardcore gamer. Bigger screen, easy volume control, added brightness control, camera capability, audio recording, s.d. card usage, internet connection. Youtube.com needs to have flash player, no video recording, game quality is a little low, low memory.

Excellent – Great product, fun for kids and adults xl has a bigger screen so makes the games more enjoyabe to play My son has the DSi XL and he LOVES it. It is a little bit pricey in shops but we got ours online and saved about $40. He loves it, its handy for car trips and rainy days. Camera and voice recorder are fun even for adults Nothing yet except maybe the camera could be a little bit better quality.

Good – The Nintendo dsi is a great product and ticks almost all the boxes. It has great screen colour and it is simply a great console for children and teens. Nintendo has also created a great camera and features too. Along with this the nintendo dsi is lite and very portable! Great product It is simply great. You can play favourite ds games on them and… Read more

the extra camera was great. You are now able to take pictures with your dsi and tranfer them to your computer. Futhermore, you can also edit the photoes and make them funny. The dsi has a better start up screen and the added bonus of connecting to the internet was fabulous!!! The nintendo dsi was almos overall the same as the nintendo ds lite. The controls were the same and eveything was almost the same, however nintendo charged a whole lot more for the dsi than the ds lite on the launch date.

Excellent – I bought the DSi XL to replace my DS Lite. This was mainly because I was getting a bit of eyestrain peering at the small screen on the Lite. Some of my DS Lite games such as Scrabble, Touchmaster, Brain Training, etc are much more pleasant to play on this console because they are so much easier to see. I was hoping that the wi-fi internet… Read more

function would be better but it is not a major concern.

Now if I can just get it away from my kids, I might be a ble to play it a bit more.

Overall, I have no regrets about buying the DSi XL. I have the XL version of the DSi. I love it. The larger screen is very easy on the eyes. The camera and sound recording functions are quite amusing. The menu system is very easy to use. The larger stylus is much more comfortable to use. The battery seems to last for a long time. Internet connection is very slow. The shiny upper cover shows every finger print. There is nowhere to store the larger stylus. This console may be a bit heavy for young children.

Excellent – I love it, I am particular over my console gaming units - and this one I love to piece. I use it every 1-2 days, and you can see where Nintendo is taking this unit. Dual Screen, touch screen on the bottom screen, strong sturdy unit. Have dropped it once, and it banged up the right back button. Sent it to Nintendo with $55 and they replaced the… Read more

casing - was back withing a week. Good service. Games on this unit are great, a lot of fun. Good wireless internet. Camera low quality, but it will only increase in quality as new versions come out.

Good – We won the Nintendo DSi in a competition. We would not have gone out and bought it specifically as we already owned an older DS and play lots of computer games and also own a PS3. Anyway we gave it to our young son who thoroughly enjoys it. It was a godsend last year when we went to America and did some really long drives. The battery held out for… Read more

up to 5 hours and he was entertained. The games are expensive so we tend watch on Ebay wait a few months until the price drops sufficiently to warrant buying. Good battery life, very portable. Dual screen All ok so far

Excellent – The Nintendo DSi is an excellent source of entertainment for my son and myself also. With a wide range of games available and plenty of cool little apps you can download from the DSware website you are sure to get continued enjoyment from a DSi. An awesome little unit. I love how it has Wi-Fi and you can download software directly from the… Read more

Nintendo site. Cool stuff to do with the camera and microphone and the use of these features is worked into a lot of the games and other software avilable. Nothing except that they don't ever seem to come down in price much.

Good – I love the DS products in general. This is an improvement on the DS lite model although to me it is not a big enough difference to me that I will upgrade from my DS lite just yet. I was disappointed with the quality of the camera. The DS' are really addictive gaming consoles and I enjoy playing with mine epecially when I travel there are the… Read more

perfect size to travel with. Has more features than the standard DS lite. More interactive. You can personalise it more, and there is wireless web too which is a bonus The camera is not that great the quality is pretty low.

Excellent – The Nintendo DSi I feel is what the DS and DS Lite always should have been , it has a better user interface, you can presonalise it more with pictures as wallpapapers, the camera is not the best of is a great addition as you can now upload photos straight to facebook, the sound app is a heap of fun I have made so many funny voices , the DSi shop is… Read more

growing but already has some good titles some of them which work with the camera, it has even been rumoured you might be able to download any retro games in the future, the DSi has heaps of potenial that has not yet been realised and there is already free stuff to download. This is a great product for any Nintendo fan and just about anybody wi-fi, downloadable, games, apps , works with sd cards, heaps of new colours, web , many secrets to be found within the console ok camera, limited memory needs sd card support, overpriced but well worth my money

Good – As I grown up I purchased this to see what my five children were so keen to spend all their free time engaged in. I have no free time, but I can understand how addictive this wee beastie is! Lots of harmless fun, great distraction for children in car trips and waiting rooms, but there is little or no really engaging software/games for adults. … Read more

Way overpriced compared to a DS Lite, but the camera and web interface makes it a better product. Compact, takes standard SD cards for storage, wireless web interface, larger clearer screen, very silly and funny photo editing software (similar to Mac's "photobooth"), nice matte finish and feel. Camera quality is not particularly good, still very limited material for download from the "DS Store", does not take GameBoy Advance cartridges (and therefore also not compatable with DS Lite Guitar Hero.
