very good product – I bought a nokia 1100 mobile phone and found it excellent and easy to use along with it having the flash light / the battery went for ages though the mobile phone network carrier system is not really viable option anymore / the compact design and tough as nails / very hard to find mobile phones like that anymore  Show reply

Old faithful – This was my old spare phone and has trucked along without a hitch, it's obviously incredibly basic but works brilliantly, is amazing to SMS on and the battery lasts for a few days, The programmable monophonic ringtone allowed me to create short but loud beeps sounds for the SMS. If you can find one in good order I'd highly recommend it to older… Read more

folks. I know two people who have reverted back to these after misfires with clumsy newer phones. Simplicity, reliability, battery life, display works in sunlight, pleasing green backlight. Calls had a buzz in the earpeice, no calendar.

Good – I purchased this phone 6 years ago for $99. It has been used every day since then, my dad now uses it as I upgraded throughout the years. It is easy to use, can take a beating, and a great phone if you need it to do the basic (call and text). Has a handy torch function too. - Very durable - Cheap - Has your basic functions - Easy to use - Torch

Good – Great phone for a basic user. So easy to use and it was very cheap at the time. I bought it and used it for a while before upgrading. A great basic phone which can be for emergency users or a first phone for a child. Texting is easy, making phone calls, no fuss - just simple. Nokia menu system is just so easy to use. Nothing. Great phone!

Excellent – Easy to use. Easy to charge. Very suitable phone for people who only make and receive calls and a few SMSes. Excellent value handset. Robust. Good volume. Like 99% of Nokias, very intuitive and user friendly. Bought three of these. One for my mother-in-law because the text is big & easy to see, one for my wife as a back-up and one for self as a… Read more

back-up. They cost $79 each but each one came with a $50 Woolies shopping voucher and $20 Vodafone credit ... making each phone effectively $9 each. Can't receive photos from grandkids but we shouldn't complain because we bought them knowing that.

Good – I have been using this phone for over four years now and its still functional. I've changed its battery once and it lasts for 2-3 days. I think this has been the most durable phone from Nokia. Also, I bought this at a cheap price. As a conclusion, it's perfect to use for those who may be out for 2-3 days without electricity in the area where… Read more

you're staying at, and for those who wants to buy a cheap phone. This phone is very easy to use, has longer battery life than other mobile phone batteries I've known. It even has a built-in flashlight in case the environment is dark. It is also very light and compact. It may have a built-in flashlight but it doesn't give off bright light. Also, I'm having a bit of difficulty in speaking with people in other line.

Excellent – I purchased this product becuase it wanted a cheap but lasting phone. I considered other phones but found this phone to be less expensive and it was easy to carry. I considered other brands but found the nokia brand to be more trusting. I only trust the Nokia brand as i have owned other brands and they did not last. So now i only go with the Nokias. I like the Nokia 1100 because it is small and compact.

Good – I got this phone about 3 or more years ago and let me tell you it has never let me down, . After all these years the battery life is still outstanding the key pad is probably one of the hilights of this phone as all the buttons are close together and you dont get any dirt clogging it up. I liked this phone

Excellent – I've been using this phone three years, and it's not failed me once. When most phones are designed to last to the expiration of their warranty, and then need to be replaced instantly, this is a refreshing change. The Nokia 1100 has few fancy features, but if you're wanting those features, there are numerous expensive, unreliable and short-lived… Read more

phones with all the useless gimmicks one could ever need.

For anyone looking for a phone that reliably makes phone calls, has a good battery life that will still be just as good in a few years' time, this is a perfect one to use. A good, reliable phone, without all the error-prone, power-draining gimmicks. No problems.
