Excellent – This is my first slide phone, and I kinda thought I wouldn't like it, but it's easy to get used to. To me it feels solid and reliable. (Except when you take the back off you feel like it's going to break...) I don't use all the fancy features, but bluetooth works well with my car kit. I paid extra to update the map, and now my poor old… Read more

TomTom sits in the glovebox. Navigation directions are generally clear and concise, but like all GPS units, it will occasionally get it wrong. Common sense prevails and it catches up just fine. If you don't use the network for the initial fix, it can take literally many minutes to get a fix; if you use the network (extra cost) it fixes almost instantly.

The menus can be confusing. Some options aren't where you expect to find them. (Read the book...) Having a phone and GPS in one device pleases me no end. :)

Only downside to me is that you can't navigate to a lat/long position, for Geocaching. (If you can, I haven't figured out how yet.)

As regards battery life, I just bought a couple extra batteries... (And a windscreen mount).

Love it! The ONLY phone (I believe) with GPS you don't have to pay extra for as you go. Nice feel to it, good voice quality, First phone I have had for years that I can easily text on. Battery life can be a little short, depending on what you are doing (GPS, bluetooth) or how far you are from the towers. GPS is very slow getting a fix unless you use the network for initial fix. Top row of keys a little cramped.

Good – A compact alternative to Nokia's N65 phone is Nokia 6110 Navigator. The GPS map is has a higher performance ,while the 2-megapixels camera has a very low performance. The 6110 phone offers almost everything: a music player, FM radio, tons of memory, HSDPA, Bluetooth and quad. It should be on top of the list for anyone interested in a phone… Read more

equipped with GPS. Nokia N95 has been the best smartphone sold in 2007, and now comes on the market a second smartphone with built-in GPS: Nokia 6110 Navigator.

Nokia 6110 phone is designed in a pleasant graphic and it is more compact than Nokia N95, but surprisingly a little more difficult. It is of course much more refined than the N95 in terms of appearance, reliability and keyboard, even if the first line of digits is a little more difficult to use if you have larger fingers. The keypad is dedicated to the Navigator (GPS) type of phone and the keys can be personalized with a speed-dial.The phone is also equipped with a camera on the back and sliding protective lens. It is a phone that workes well being easy to use in the same time. It is easy to use, good keyboard, best gps the camera is not very performant.

Bad – Call me crazy but I just want a phone that is reliable. This was isn't. The GPS is free - but only good when it works - it usually takes 15 minutes to locate my position and no one at Optus or Nokia seems to know why. It's gotten worse since the phone was sent to the Nokia service centre for repairs - repairs that found that the battery was… Read more

fauly, and the camera had stopped working (for no apparent reason). After fixing the camera and upgrading the software - Nokia acknowledged that the battery was faulty but left it that - no replacement. Today the battery goes completely flat after 8 hours. The phone is only one year old. Since the phone has come back from the service centre - a "SIM Card not found" error has made its debut - and now appears around 6 times a day. Generally this usually is fixed by turning the phone on and off - but from the time the error appears to the time you realise it has appeared - no one can call you. So if having a mobile phone that is working is crucial for you - this ain't the one. I've given up trying to fix this phone - just waiting for my contract to finish.

If having a cheap & unreliable version of a good phone is your priority - get this one - otherwise - get something better. GPS is free Where do I start - battery is poor quality, GPS have never worked properly, Camera has broken twice, SIM card error is common.

Excellent – I bought this phone a couple weeks ago, and so far I think it's the ants pants. I'm loving the integrated GPS, and not having to pay for guidance every month. It's simple to use, and solid. The buttons are small but not fiddly. It doesn't seem to have some of the handy features of the Nokia N95, but is still a real nice little phone. I love the… Read more

Good – I think this is a good phone, could be a little easier to use GPS side of it. Other than the problem with the slide up screen being in the way when texting1 I like the fact that its quite slim to keep in your bag and your pocket. Like the sleek black colour. I like the fact that it has gps on it I dislike when you slide the phone up to text that… Read more

Bad – Overall, this is an excellent phone, However I wouldn't buy it because of the pay to use feature for the navman. This was the main reason why we upgraded. We are just thankful it is a work phone and not at our expense. It looks very swish and user friendly. It's a great size to fit in your pocket and hold in your hand. It is realativly user… Read more

friendly but doesn't always make logical sense to find functions. I dislik that you need to pay to use Navigator when the earlier modle had this feature for free. I feel it is a real rip of.

Bad – It is a good phone .. the camera is not a good one. I will not recommend this fone to anyone now. It is outdated now. Go for the IPHONE or HTC. Got this phone in 2008 because of the Navigator feature-I have been very rough with it and it still works fine. The keypad keys are very small. Terrible – I really regret getting this phone on a 2 year plan. I bought it for the navigation function which in the end was slow and really not worth the effort of putting it on. My mum loves this phone so much, she refuses to upgrade! – This phone is a great non touch screen phone which is great if you have nails and cant operate the new touch screen phones. This is also the reason that after 4 years my mum still has… Read more

This phone is great for easy navigation with a built in gps and also has a fantastic feature where you push a button on the side of the phone and it reads your messages out loud to you. The battery is really bad on these phones and we have had to replace quite a few of them

OK – I got this phone thinking it would be really good. It does have some good points, but it often just hangs up on people mid way through a call which is really frustrating has a built in navigator, quite a cheap phone to buy outright Calls cut out all the time, low battery life,

Good – Good phone at great value, all the applications come in handy, good speakers and MP3 compatibility, i would definitely reccomend Great software, the built in navigation device is brill. Great price for this and good software, easy to use and find tools and can be password protected. The sliding mechanism is slightly flimsy so it has the potential to snap if it is dropped badly enough.

Good – Its the right size, I like sliding phones, it has an FM radio, and the GPS is a lifesaver, I use it all the time. I don't know what other phones with a GPS are like but this one is fantastic. The connection to the GPS can sometimes be a little slow , but generally its a good phone. Inbuilt GPS Battery drains quickly especially when using radio or GPS

Excellent – All in all an excellent all-round phone. It is the first Nokia phone that I have owned, and it won't be the last. The integrated GPS and the camera are very handy features for when you are on the go. At times, the battery life isn't its best feature; understandable though given the many functions it performs.

Excellent – One of the best mid-level phones I have had in a long time. The GPS is perfect for the car if you buy one of those phone cradle's. the past and from experience the menu system is the best and easy to navigate around, and this phone is the perfect example of that. The inbuilt GPS with australian maps provided is pretty accurate and gives you lots of features. Other features such as 2MP camera, voice recorder, converter, notes makes this phone stand out from its competitors. Looks pretty fragile, I wouldn't want to drop this phone from waist height. There isn't any bad thing you can say about Nokia phones, they have a good reputation for quality.

OK – Its a great phone, just a few things i dont like about it. The GPS doesnt really work in the city of Sydney because of the buildings. Excellent – I was skeptical of the GPS at first, thought maybe it would just be a gimmick but have come to find out it actually works and works really well. This thing has taken me… Read more

along roads i didn't even know existed . and if u miss a direction it'll just re-route another path for you. In other words u will never get lost ( just make sure it is fully charged because if the batteries run flat during navigation then you'll be screwed )

It is also feature-packed and is really good at every task although the GPS really does it for me .

Ask it to find a house address and it'll take you right to the door step. However i found out that it loses a bit of its accuracy in the tight ,busy streets of the city.

Also i had it mounted in my car during a hot summer day one time, in direct sunlight for about an hour and it froze. But i just took out the battery and put it back in and it was back to normal.

Overall a gem of a phone, show-casing the all-round ability mobiles phones are heading in. GPS actually works ! Heaps of features , mp3, camera, video recorder, sound recorder, speaker phone, speed dialling, voice dialling

Quick to fully re-charge GPS is slow to get connection and not 100 % foolproof
