Hard to use and poor sound quality – This phone was provided by my employer about 18 months ago but over the last six months the sound quality deteriorated to the point of being unusable. The phone has just been replaced (with a Nokia C2!) rather than fixed. This phone has also been harder to use than necessary and some information including the time was difficult to read on the… Read more

screen. Otherwise the battery life was good and the compact size made it convenient to carry. Overall the quality and performance of this phone was not up to the standard of previous Nokia units. Compact size and good battery life Sound deterioration and hard to use

Nokia C5 – These phones are quite expensive and really offer nothing that a $40 handset wont do. The menu's are poorly laid out and everything about this phone is just plain fiddley. The biggest flaw with this phone (along with the other 100+ of them we have at work) is that the back cover just keeps falling off the battery drops out. This a common issue… Read more

that has been reported frequently by work colleagues that are using them. Call quality is fine, battery life is good and the phone is compact. Do yourself a favour, find something different if you don't want a smart phone. These are poorly engineered dumb phones that cost the earth. Call reception Back cover keeps falling off

Frustrating to use – I find these phones illogical and fiddly to use. The keys are tiny and your fingers slip off them all the time (I'm a 36 year old female with delicate fingers! ;) I'm constantly pressing the wrong button and bringing up the wrong function. Text messaging is so tedious I don't even bother! It makes phone calls when you eventually press the correct button!! Small keys, illogical functions, fiddly to use

Does the trick – I bought this off Trademe, new, but ex shop display. I didn't like it at first as it was purchased without actually seeing the phone. My decision to buy was based on reviews from websites such as these. My eye sight is not as it once was and the info on screen was smaller than my previous Samsung phone. I have enlarged what I can on the display… Read more

and now that I'm used o it I really like it's features. If you don't want a smart phone (and I don't) then this is quite a good alternative. Well made and I really like the gps navigation, after I downloaded the voice app for it.

Does all I want and more. menu design, gps navigation, construction. small screen, hard to read.

Love it, easy to use – I've had a lot of different mobile, tried a lot of different brands, and I must say from now on I'll be sticking to Nokia. I've never had a problem with a Nokia phone and the Nokia C5 is great and easy to use.... I only use it for phone calls, texting and facebook, of and the occasional photo. Love this phone. Easy to use, nice slim design  Show reply

Very good – I've had a lot of mobiles! And haven't liked most of them. Whilst not normally a nokia girl, I really like this one. I'm not a huge techno freak, but I can set up cool ringtones, personalize it to how I like and check my email fairly easily. Unlike others, I won't be looking for a replacement anytime soon Reliable, simple to use, good battery life expensive compared to what else you can get for the money

Ok, but could be better – The Nokia C5 is quite easy to use, but it promotes itself as a smartphone. It comes no where near other smartphones. The screen is tiny and so the websites are hard to navigate as you need to scroll both left and right and up and down. The apps are not very good. Most cost to download and all the free ones are only trial ones for 30 days. Easy to use Not a smartphone as advertised
