Nokia E7 (2011)

terrible night camera-awkward design – I was trying to avoid spending so much on an Apple so I bought this. I regret that decision. First the pluses- Great Daylight photos; pretty good battery life which should easily get you through a day; a multitude of android apps out there to use. Now the Minuses: The side buttons are tiny and recessed, so turning on and off is very awkward with fingers. The keypad is minute and certainly not suited to an average-big hand to type on. The Camera admittedly does take stunning daylight photos but it is hopeless in any reduced light situations and forget about taking any photos at night concerts or at night in general. There's an old saying, 'you buy cheap, you get cheap'...and this phone proves it. The volume on the phone and general sound leaves a lot to be desired and it seems very vulnerable to hacking...I'm constantly getting spam messages in my inbox. In conclusion- I'm finding it fiddly and clunky and the annoying pop ups are very distracting.

Nokia's best ever phone? – I've had many Nokia phones over the years and this one is my favourite. Okay, I don't buy 'cutting edge' phones [still haven't tried Windows phones] but this one give my friends' Android and Apple phones a run for their money. Especially when I tell them I paid $ 100 for it [used, of course]. If only Nokia [or anyone else] made a new phone in this form factor, I might move up. For now, long live the E7 :-) Decent-sized hardware QWERTY KB, decent camera w 720p video, good battery life. Small numbers in touchscreen keyboard mode.
Not nokias best – i had alot of faults with mine within 6weeks of purchase. The usb connector for the charger stopped connecting, and eventually went dead. Had it sent away and nokia fixed it under warranty an had it within one week, two days later the smae thing happened, i sent it off to nokia again, they made no contact with me an had my phone for 6weeks!! Then i called them an they said they would replace it eventually! They eventually did replace the handset. Now the new works fine but still turns itself off occasionally. Overall its a good phone minus the problems i have had, but i am grateful that nokia replaced the phone. If you buy this phone make sure its still covered by warranty! Comes in blue, good camera an has touch screen n keypad, nokia was very helpful First one i had was faulty, turns off sometime when fully charged
Good – I got this phone and had problems with it turning itself on and off but once it was fixed it was great, i love being able to use the keyboard and the touch screen at the same time! its great for listening to music too! Touch pad and keyboard Had problems in the beginning
