By far the worst smartphone ever – I hate android so i decided to give a nokia with windows phone a go. By the way i loved iphone 3gs but wanted to try something new. Big mistake, this phone has the worst software and design in the world. First of i will talk about the hardware issues. Screen to sensetive, accidently touching search in the middle of calls or other actions. Camera… Read more

button on the same side a right hand person holds the phone, so turning camera on whilst calling. No silent button?? I have to naigate through 3 menus to get to it??

Ok now software, worst app support ever!!! Bugs bugs bugs, ebay app haves 30% function, i cant relist items, i cant save search options (like search overseas etc), i cant message back only read messages, java error. Useless. Facebook app has to be re installed once a month, flashes but doesnt open sometimes. Most apps are not even apps just run off browser, what a joke.never ever again nokia, need iphone back , oh i forgot to mention sometimes it switches it self off and on when it feels like, maybe 4 times a week. Problems are endless Strong phone, fact i can change battery

Great product, very easy and straightforward! – This has been my first touch screen, new-generation phone (i know, it took me a while). It has been quite easy to learn on and it is very easy to use too. Very good to navigate on internet and to manage e mails. Takes very nice pictures too. Quite happy with it! Large screen, clear and functional When low battery seems to have limited functionality. Show reply

N Lumia 800 a Windows Phone – One of Nokia' great phones. A 16gb internal storage more than enough for apps, and contacts. Goodtouchscreen with anti-scratch gorrila glass. Battery life are awesome doesn't drain fast when using apps or music. Great browsing, smooth and fast. Had 8mp auto focus camera but no secondary camera a smartphones should have. The sound is not good enough, something like a broken sound. Fast and smooth browsing Broken sound. No memory card slot.

Not as good as iphone – Harder to navigate the phone & internet compared to iPhone. Need more taps to do the same thing on iphone, can do with more shortcut/command buttons on screen/phone. Very limited number of apps. Smaller screen & font than other smartphones, need to strain eyes browsing internet. can't organise favourites into folders. doesn't show battery life and… Read more

time unless on home screen. Can't go forward on internet explorer. Can't close a browser page easily. Can't open page in new tab. Battery goes low in less than a day, even when it is only 1 wk old, I expect trouble in future if I need to keep the phone on the charger as it doesn't have replaceable battery. Phone construction is more robust (ahead) than other smartphones. but user experience lags significantly with other products in the market. was a long term Nokia fan. Hope they can catch up. Coz it had potential to surpass iPhone. Have some originality. Stronger screen!!! Function as a smartphone. Not crowded with useless apps like Android phones. Not as bulky as HTC. Not as intuitive and user oriented as iphone. Bad battery life, not replacable. It's like having a high tech phone with outdated software.

Easy to use – Love the Nokia Lumia 800 it is very easy to use. The camera quality is excellent and easy to upload to your computer. Very easy to use and personalise you phone. Loud ring which is good when working in a noisy enviroment. I would recommend this phone to friends and family. Only problem I find is I have to keep checking if I get a message a it only beeps once. Maybe you can change the setting but I havent been able to sort that out yet

Fantastic phone with a fantastic OS – I love the design of this phone. It is based off the N9, and I am glad they have kept the same principles when porting it to Windows Phone. The OS is amazingly unique and intuitive, and the Nokia apps are very useful, ie. free GPS. I would've liked the screen size to be a little bigger, but it'll do. Operating system, design, free GPS, Nokia quality, camera Some early bugs and glitches, screen size

Functional phone but appauling user interactions – I like new technologies and oddly enough the Nokia brand, but this Lumia 800 has been an absolute disappointment. Although its interfact with windows is simple, I have found contacts are doubled, trebled almost immediately and I have found that the font size is useless. No matter what I have searched for its always come up with "nothing"! On… Read more

top of this, its actual screen size is alot smaller than advertised - there are touch screen buttons that make the actual reading screen far far smaller than it should be.

I am going to off load this useless piece of junk as soon as possible as its not worth the price or the hassle.

Although its up to your own preferences, may I take the grief out of this for you - if your considering a phone - please - I beg you - avoid the Nokia Lumia in all its facets! Its "looks" black screen, clear icons appauling font size with no changes possible - useless functionality

Could not disagree with you more. The use of this device is a breeze. It embodies probably the best smart phone platform and OS in the market today.
