After seeing a video of Australian Dr Golly using this, I bought one thinking it looked easy enough to use. My baby had his first cold and I’ve had to use this multiple times a day and it’s wonderful. The key is to spray some saline in a couple of minutes earlier. My baby doesn’t mind it. You can’t taste the snot for those of you concerned! It… Read more
stays in the tube. No need to change the filter every time either. Highly recommend, with quick effects that make feeding and breathing if bub easier
It’s fantastic! I wish I discovered it earlier. I use nose spray first to soften the mucus Show details
Simple and effective for babies – We were sceptical at first. We have tried many different nasal aspirators. Happy with the purchase. Loosen with saline nasal spray and it works perfectly. Highly recommend. Easy to use and hygienic. Show details
Brilliant! An absolute must! – Have used this on my 8 month old with severe congestion, found it extremely effective to use. Bulb aspirated was ineffective and dragged the whole process out. The NoseFrida was quick and easy to use with some saline. This product helped baby recover much quicker by removing almost all the snot and mucus. A perfect gift for a first time mum! Show details
Best aspirator for snotty noses! – Has been a life saver and used it on both my bubs. Really easy to clean Show details
The best nothing else worked as good – My toddler 16 months just started daycare and by the 2nd week had a congested nose. I tried a bulb suction and it was a nightmare trying to get it up the nose and time the suction to get nothing. Electric ones made so much noise he freaked out. Nose frida was easy to use, there was a little crying but not screaming. The amount of snot that came out was just amazing. Finally it’s so simple to clean. It really works the best Show details
You won’t believe it til you need it and try it! – I was so sceptical about buying and using this product - as a first time mum, I had no idea when and why I would use this. But because of the glowing reviews I just ordered it anyway. Well my 5 week old son has had blocked noses all this week, starting to mouth breath because of it. I took out the Fess baby nasal spray and squirted it into his… Read more
nostrils and then used this snot sucker. To my amazement globs it snot started coming out and he was so relieved afterwards! I can not believe how useful this product is and how simply it works. Any first time mum should have this in her kit cos you never know when you will need it and to have it on hand and ready at those difficult times is invaluable.
Great – Been using the nose Frida for quite sometime now and I am very pleased with it. My son has very thick stringy mucus and has from day dot, so we needed something with a bit of pulling power and it has done well in conjunction with saline. Show details
Such a great, essential product! – I paid $21.40 for this on ebay which included 3 extra filters in addition to the one preset in it. My opinion is that it is over priced since the materials themselves are relatively cheap, which is why I didn't purchase it sooner. But it's 100% worth the money, especially if you pair it with saline drops. My bub hates it, but so much comes out. He can breathe much easier and it gives me peace of mind!
Love this Product – Love this, have used fess little noses and the snotts don't come out as good as nose Frida my sis in law bought my son this from Hawaii and didnt know they had it here untill a few weeks ago I seen it at the chemist love this will never be turning back
Great device, pros and cons over bulb syringe – Bought this for my little booglet and am reasonably impressed. Generally better than bulb syringe, but a few cons. Pro: - easy to use - large enough to seal nostril itself and don't have to block other nostril - don't have to insert into bubs nose so less chance of stabbing wiggly baby - have found to be better tolerated than bulb syringe … Read more
- excellent for removing liquid mucus, gets heaps more out much easier than bulb
Cons
- Not as good as removing large/sticky boogies. Can't aim to a specific place as with bulb syringe and can't get that small burst of strong suction
- Filters are supposed to be replaced after every use which could get expensive, particularly if your baby us a boogie machine like mine us, even when we'll.
- More expensive up front than bulb syringe
I recommend using with saline nasal spray for best results.
it works!!! – I've used a few products and combining saline drops and a minute later using the nose frida, definately does the trick. It's great to get the mucus deep in the nasal passages. I also have the snotty 3 and i use the frida for bad cases of mucus and the snotty for obvious runny boogers dropping out the nose. I've found that a quick suck is… Read more
best.. mimicking blowing of the nose. Baby hates this tho. Be warned. Once is enough and if still congested repeat with saline drops and frida 1/2hr later. As with our noses we usually have one nostril more clogged so keep an eye on that and it is usually the nostril you repeat.
Awesome product.
A lifesaver! – I bought it when I was pregnant, thinking that it might come in handy. It DID! My baby was teething and had a runny nose and a fever, basically hell. But this particular item saved us. Very easy to use on your baby, and it works wonderfully. A must have for every mums and dads!

It's disgusting but it works better than anything else – This is by far the best product on the market for clearing your baby's nose. So much better than a bulb syringe. I recommend a couple of saline drops/squirts of saline spray in each nostril (to help loosen congestion), wait a minute then use NoseFrida. It is fairly gross but you get over it quickly once you see how effective it is!
Must have baby item – We have owned one for 3 years and it has been indispensable with our 2 kids. We don't change the filter every time like it says to, only when it becomes contaminated with snot (which is very rare, hence we have only used one packet of filters). There really is nothing else that gets the snot out of babies' and toddlers' noses as well as this. Both… Read more
my kids hate it, and put up a fight when we use it (I imagine it's a very weird feeling) but it's all over in a manner of seconds and they can breathe again. Especially good when they're sick and can't sleep. I have since bought 5 others for various friends having babies as I find them a much better baby shower gift than the usual toys and clothes.
Best nasal aspirator ever! – I used the Fess little noses bulb and it just didn't work to clear snot. I bought the Nosefrida on a recommendation from another mother and it was the best recommendation. You can easily control the amount of suction as it is done by mouth and it works fast enough that my baby didn't stress out. I would recommend this product to everyone.
Must have for all the mums – It's the best thing !!! Why didn't I know this before. My 11 month old has a runny nose, I've been using so much, it works like a magic. Simple but fantastic invention
Amazing! – I wish i bought this sooner, it is amazing, just fantastic and only 15 bucks. Do yourself and bub a favour and buy it and try it. I'm glad the pharmacist showed it to me.
MUST have for every mum – I am obssessed at how good this is....in 2012 with my first child who was a premmie ar 34 weeks, I searched online for the best nasal.aspirator. i couldnt sleep when my tiny baby cant breathe and instead was crying because of colds... i read about nosefrida and since then and after a second baby ive never had any issues eith colds and snots.... … Read more
When they get the sniffles, incan easily clear their little noses in an instant.... it gives so much relief that you dont have to rely panadol, or anything else and hope it kicks in and works....all u have to do i suck it with the nosefrida and they can breathe normally again...
I love nosefrida and have given it to all baby showers ive attended.
Beautifully disgusting – Put down that useless nasal bulb and order this thing. After weeks of congestion I bought the nosefrida and tried it on my little one. Seriously, I must have pulled a whole millilitre of snot from my 4 month old's tiny sinus cavities. It was absolutely disgusting but oh so gratifying. Boogers be gone!
Effective though gross – Nasal aspirators are truly gross things. We use them for the sake our children only! I didn't discover this til now when my daughter's 15 months old. Wish I'd had it last year! I've also used the blue bubble aspirator that comes with Fess saline spray and it works too, but the NoseFrida requires less precision. The balloon requires that you… Read more
get the spout in the right spot with squirming baby/toddler protesting all the way, and its easy to miss. The NoseFrida has a wider surface area which makes a vacuum in bub's nose...and more mucus can be extracted in a shorter time. YUCK!!
So, it works and works well. My daughter hates me using it but it means the torture's over for her sooner. And it beats a sinus infection.
What a relief to know this works! – Bought this in my third trimester with first child after researching nose aspirators. My friends say pump aspirators don't really work but that's all you can do so I researched believing sonething must work. When my daughter was only 12 days old (only 2.5kg) she developed a bad blocked nose that started to really affect her feeding and… Read more
settling so used this with a newborn saline spray. (Vapouriser didn't really help). AMAZING! Cleared her nose with a couple of quick gentle draws of breath, wipe nose and done. She didn't mind it at all and her nostrils are really small- small baby. I couldn't insert into nostrils so just held flush against her nostrils. Will now be buying these for all my friends who told me nothing really works or use the old fashion way- mum's mouth over nose and suck- eeeeeww! Nose Frida is way to go and the disposable filters prevent anything from being sucked into your mouth. Not gross at all as I had feared whilst researching.

Nothing but praise! – This is definitely a must have! I'm so happy I found it early on with my son. He was very congested and mucousy when he was about 4 weeks old and caught a cold. I stumbled across this on YouTube and initially skipped over it as it looked too gross. I bought a bulb syringe to try and suck the mucous out but my little guy would scream and get VERY… Read more
distraught for quite a while when I tried to use it, I was actually resorting to trying to suck the snot out with my mouth - gross! I know! So I deecided to buy the nosefrida and it is fantastic. Makes a vacuum at his little nostril so I don't need to stick it in far, and although you have to suck pretty hard sometimes, it is impossible for the snot to come into your mouth. Works even better a couple of minutes after putting some saline spray or drops into his nose. One thing people don't tell you is how helpless you feel when your little baby can't breathe properly and you cant fix it. Well this does. Will be buying this for any and all baby showers gifts from now on.
Absolutely essential for your baby care kit! – Even white I was still pregnant I wondered how I'd provide adequate relief to my baby if she caught a cold and was all blocked up. I had heard about the bulbs and how ineffective and invasive they are, and I also learned that baby decongestant nose drops are no longer available. After bubs was born an internet search led me to the Nose Frida. … Read more
I ordered one straight away, and first had the need to use it when my baby was just a few months old, and she would wake up all snuffly and congested. She couldn't feed properly with a blocked nose, as obviously they need to be able to breathe through their noses in order to suck. The Nose Frida proved extremely easy to use and very effective, and baby didn't have a problem with it. It removes all the mucus, especially if you use a saline spray or drops beforehand.
Then she was able to feed with ease. Babies will sleep better with a clear nose, so we made it a habit to clear her nose before every sleep and upon waking before each feed. It was such a relief to be able to provide such important help to my litttle one when she couldn't breathe properly! I would recommend this to all mothers as an essential item.
Replacement filters are a bit pricey (and its just a bit of foam), considering they recommend you change it after each use, but we realised that this was not necessary every time, as long as mucus hadn't come into contact with it. We only change ours every couple of days if it has been used and the filters go a lot further that way. Easy to use, clean, hygenic, non-invasive Replacement filters rather costly.
Must have – Didn't discover this when we had our first child. Used it daily on second child who had heaps of mucus. Heaps less uncomfortable for him then normal aspirator. Will be on the list for girlfriends baby shower gifts one of those simple devices that you just need with little children. Can't rate highly enough. cheap easy effective
Clears babies nose, very effective! – The nose frieda is a baby nasal aspiration device which is different to others in the market....it uses a tubing system rather than the usual 'bulb' type to remove mucus much more effectively. The pencil shaped tube creates a suction on the outer part of baby's nose and when gently sucked, creates a vacuum removing the blockages. There is a filter… Read more
system to when Inhaling nothing is transferred to the mouth Easy to use, more effective than traditional 'bulb' devices, reasonably priced The thought Of sucking boogas out of nose is off putting, but you don't come into contact at all with your mouth
Great Product! – We purchased this product after reading reviews on this site and let me tell you we are so happy with it.. My son loves it, it doesnt hurt him and works effectively. It is really easy to use and clean. Very simple gadget. We always use saline spray few minutes prior using Nosefrida.. %100 recommended.. Easy to clean, Very cheap, Very effective
So glad I bought this – The Nosefrida Snotsucker is so much more effective than a bulb aspirator. I was able to clear my 5 month old baby's nose of mucous so she breath again. It is also very safe. I never felt like the end was going to go inside her nose and cause any harm because of the nice wide tip. Easy to use, works well
Wonderful product! – There is nothing better than knowing that yout baby can breathe easily. NoseFrida is easy to use, easy to clean but most of all extremely effective. I used it on my 4 month old daughter and her comfort level improved immediately. I used saline spray to loosen the mucous prior to using NoseFrida. Easy to use, great price!
Worked so well, I was pleasantly surprised! – My 2 mth old has had bronchitis for 3 weeks, after using the bulb on her (ineffectively), I stumbled across the NoseFrida. Having purchased it for a steal at the Sydney Baby Expo 2012, I tried it and wow! It worked so well, I was able to retrieve so much more "mucus" than when I was using the bulb and baby didn't cry! She cried every time with the… Read more
bulb, as the bulb is inserted into the nose and the NoseFrida is only held at the edge of the nose. I highly recommend this baby product and would say that this is one item that every parent should have in their home. Easy to use, inexpensive, safe, works really well
Must Have – Easy to use and keep clean, will give you that reassurance you need when baby is struggling to breathe you can make a big difference with the Frida instantly It is the only one of it's kind, you will not be able to do without it Don't know what I would do without this product Inexpensive, reliable, easy to keep clean
An Absolute must Have for all parents! – Just thought I'll pass on a big thank you to NoseFrida. The nosefrida is seriously the best nose aspirator on the market. In hospitals, they use oxygen suctions which is very similar with special tubing to clear a babies stuffy nose. My partner and I wished we had one to help our son's stuffy nose. Soon as I saw the NoseFrida, I knew it was… Read more
exactly the same kind of thing.. I really clears up both my 4mth old and 5 year old daughter's nose. highly reccomended. It should be in every newborn gift basket for new parents and selling everywhere. Works much better than any other nose aspirator I've ever tried
