Oki C711

Have owned 4 C711's - each new machine less reliable than the previous – I am now in to my fourth OKI C711 and while I have always found the print quality to be excellent, This will be my last OKI printer. The first OKI C711 that I owned was a work horse - excellent image quality and it just kept working - with a reliability unmatched by any printer on the market. However, each successive C711 that I have owned since that first one has been progressively worse in terms of the quantity of printing that can be done before requiring replacement parts Ie: image drums, fuser cartridges etc.- each new printer requiring replacement parts sooner than its predecessor. I am now having to purchase image drums for Magenta, Cyan and Yellow on a machine that is less than two years old and has printed a fraction of the number of pages that the older models printed before replacement parts were required.; The OKI C711 should no longer be considered a reliable machine.

Solid printer – This is our main printer at work with 10 people using it. It prints fast, reliable and cheap. It's easy to setup. It's relatively quiet and prints in double sided pretty fast. It has heaps of options and is low maintenance. It works under linux and freebsd. The tray holds 500 pages comfortably. Easy, Fast, cheap to run, energy efficient expensive
