It is ok, but fails to deliver – Overall the printer does what it is meant to do, which is print, however it powers up randomly, does a check then shuts down with all lights on. Compared to my old HP 2602, this printer guzzles power and is not very green. Cartridge usage: OKI printers have a usage chip in them making it difficult to use ALL the available toner and wastes toner. Once it says it is done, there is little option to squeeze the last 150 pages out of it.

The Oki is not as smart as claimed and requires significant set up effort to get working to full functionality. As a techie, I could never get it fully functional despite several hours of attempting to. The Android remote printing is a dog and should be avoided at all costs. The app interface is clumsy, hard to work and often fails to print. Clearly this wasn't well thought out.

I would avoid buying OKI in preference to HP based upon my previous experience with HP printers.

Feature packed and compact, but poor build quality overall – I have used this printer for over 12 months, during which I have spent nearly $1000 in supplies. I am a small business and in that year, I have done 3500 prints. I find that this printer is feature-packed, but the quality in comparison to my previous printer is slightly inferior. The product support is pathetic, and people from head office or technical support do not call you back. There was some teething issues in setting this machine up, and the technician who visited on-site could not even fix it. In the end, he emailed me the instructions to do a machine reset which seemed to solve the problem.

My purchase decision was largely influenced by the price point against the features this machine offers, for example an auto reverse scanner because we scan all our documents, and most organisations print double-sided these days. Features, compact, easy to set up Build quality, constantly replacing supplies, expensive parts and supplies
