Very poor quality Faster by mouth – My house isn't massive but i have to empty it and completely dust out the filters every single clean... and even completely clear its louder then my mower and sucks worse then an asthmatic octogenarian, honestly not even at $20 could i recommend this crap box, waste of plastic. do not buy it.  Show details

cheap but not great – This is a very cheap vacuum but for good reason; the suction is quite poor, and the hose/leg is flimsy and clogs very easily. It might do if you only need to vacuum a very small apartment with no carpets and are prepared to remove the leg, get down on the floor and use the nozzle to pick up anything larger than a grain of sand.  Show details

Very poor quality suction motor – For a 60$ device it looks very good but the biggest problem is its motor. Very poor quality motor. I bought this once and it was working very well, reasonably good suction though it was noisy but it does the job until one day i heard a lawnmower type sound with burning smell with sparks coming from its back. You dont have to be genious to know… Read more

thats an electric motor issue. Dissapointed but i was glad when they gave us a new device (same model) when i asked for a new one. Within the first week i got the same problem again with the sparks and burning smell. Thats not a coincidence, thats a serious design flaw. When i read all these reviews its a quiet common problem for this device. If the company is willing to rectify the motor issues with some small price increment, this is a perfectly fine device. I asked for a refund rather than getting the same one again which they seems to understand.

It's terrible – I bought this vacuum over 2 months and I haven't been used it since then. After 2 months I used it for the first time vacuuming my lounge for 8 minutes and it was very noisy like a lawn mower, hard to maneuver, suction head was so hard to navigate the carpet. I smell the burn & smoky burning from the motor of vacuum. I immediately shut down the… Read more

unit for few minutes and turn it on again but the vacumn was dead.

I returned it to Woolworth get a refund. Woolworth refused me saying I have to contact the hotline service.

I asked Woolworth to read the policy of the unit. At last I got a refund but it took me too much hassle to dealt with employees of woollies.

Very poor – I bought this vacuum cleaner from Woolworths and I am highly unsatisfied. The cord for the vacuum cleaner is very inconvenient as it is much too short. The product lacked significant sucking power and the head of the vacuum cleaner was difficult to manoeuvre. The rubbish holder was much too small and after cleaning a small part of the house, it was full. This product was rather disappointing.  Show details

Very surprised and extremely happy, would buy again. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ – Needed a vacuum and started researching different top of range vacuums as this is what I had since 2003 almost purchased same again which price is in the hundreds. Went shopping at Woolworth's in the morning and spotted the Onix MODEL; BGVAC-2000, 1600W priced at $54.00, asked the checkout operator if she knew anything about this vacuum and if… Read more

anyone had returned any at all. She suggested to go online and check the reviews.

Read mixed reviews so still a bit hesitant, checked the wattage on my older vacuum which was the same and selling off grid properties I already was aware that the vacuum is the biggest drawer of electricity which meant they put a generator on when operating a vacuum, so the wattage added a plus for decision. Returned to Woolworth's to take another look and a staff member i knew said that he has had one in the other colour for years now and it works alright and he would buy the same again.

Purchased vacuum used it and was thoroughly impressed with all features like very, very light compared to older vacuum, was easier to move, sat well and stairs whilst vacuuming, old accessories fitted this new vacuum, packs away easier and was a tenth of the price to my next choice, so money saved is money earnt + GST.

Happy with suction and noise level, timber floors and tiles in my spacious two storey home looked amazing, dust barrel was very easy to empty.

Would most definitely buy this brand again plus remember I can buy ten of these to the other brand which means i am upgrading my vacuum machine as well as getting a years warranty each time, Brilliant.

Cord was not as long as i would like, can't have everything so simply added an extension cord when using, simple as.

If you never give it a go you will never know. Very happy customer.

Absolutely Terrible – I bought this vacuum cleaner on special at Woolworths. Only reason I chose this was that I only have small area that only needed to be vacuumed on rare occasion. When I unpacked this product, it had all the makings of reasonably priced vacuum cleaner. All the pieces seem to fit nicely and when I turned it on, it was reasonably quiet. I started… Read more

vacuuming one room then another. I noticed that head of the cleaner was rather difficult to use as it wasn't as smooth as other vacuum cleaners I have used in the past. This product claimed to be cyclonic bagless but, it certainly lacked necessary sucking power. I had to go over same area many times to pick up loose bits in the carpet.

After using this product for about 10 minutes, I noticed strange smell and sound of the vacuum cleaner was rather horrible. It sounded more like a lawn mover. I suspect that motor must have strained itself as it smelt like burnt timber. I was rather disappointed with this product so, took it back and got a refund.

Lesson here is, you get what you paid for. If you want to chance by buying cheap product, don't expect too much from it. This vacuum cleaner sucked for all the wrong reasons.

It sucks (Get it?) But does the job – It's light, mobile, and has decent suction, however you will need to empty the collection tub and clean the filters after every use to maintain decent suction. The extension pole also has the vacuum head permanently attached, so if you want to remove the head you must also take the pole of. Other than this, it technically does the job,… Read more

probably not the best for a house bigger than 2/3 bedroom.

Would recommend for appartments, small houses and garage/car use.

Great for the price – As it was only a $49 vacuume, I didn't have high expectations. However I was surprised. It works well. I use it on carpet, rugs and floor boards. Good points: light, cheep, easy to use, small and compact. Sucks well. Downfalls: need to hold suction arm at a low angle to suck properly, more suited for short people. It's a bit noisy compared… Read more ·  1

to others and has a short power lead.

Overall however I am happy with the unit. I empty the unit after each use and have never had an issue with a blocked filter.

Excellent – Overall, this vacuum delivers what it is valued at. It's good for a home starter or a student who does not have a big budget to spend on a cleaning appliance. (Which student cleans anyway...) You have to be sure that the vacuum suction cord does not accidentally turn the suction power from min to max / max to min. I am still using it after 2 years… Read more

and I vacuum weekly. Didnt fail me.

IF you want an entry level one, this will be it. Or you can always go for the 600 dyson ones.. both does the same trick, so why pay more? Entry level bagless vacuum cleaner. Easy cleaning. Good suction. Light enough to carry around. Adjustable vacuum power. Filter easily blocked up = more cleaning of filter.

Terrible – a very dodgy vacuum. I'm not sure what they modelled it off when they designed it but they should've chosen a better one to copy. It may be alright for a single bedroom flat with no carpet, but no good for anything else. We retired it to the shed as a car cleaning vacuum, but it even struggles at that. It was cheap - around the $80 mark, which… Read more

should've been a giveaway to what kind of performance it would give, but we went ahead and bought it anyway. The design on first appearance looked alright but on closer inspection its a wonder it works at all. It struggles in any function of a vacuum cleaner, which makes it pretty useless. After vacuuming for about 5 minutes the power reduces to a minimum and you have to empty it and blow the filter out with a compressor.

Bad – I wouldn't recommend this cleaner, it was cheap which is why I bought it. But it isnt even worth the $80 I paid. As soon as you start cleaning, the dust particles adhere to the filter and it stops sucking. Basically unless your prepared to stop even few strokes of the floor to clean out the dust filter, its not worth the effort. I am very… Read more

dissapointed......I'm just glad I don't have a lot of carpetted area to vacuum. It was cheap, less than $80 All the dust particles stick to the filter and it then stops working
