Typically poor Quality Control – I am so tired of this... This is a very basic unit, and that's all it needs to be. Realistically, unless abused, such a unit should last for decades. Unfortunately poor basic quality control meant this unit was doomed from the moment it left the factory. The hole in the cooling fan (at the back of the motor) was off centre. This put an oscillating load on the end of the shaft, and combined with lack of a proper end bearing, it worked lose and destroyed one of the brushes. Barely used this vac, and its just dead

Heavy duty – Ideal for large rooms where its easier to manoeuvre as pipes are long..Vacuum suck is excellent,& right into corners as many don't..It does extra work on mats that are thick, others can only do a shallow clean..Spring cleans turn into new cleans & makes rental vacates much easier looking very professional

Brilliant service with my sandblasting cabinet – Must be best part of ten years since I bought this for my blasting cabinet and while I didn't expect a cheap vac to last long in a abrasive blasting environment, the 3 yr warranty was the decider. Replacement paper filter elements are much cheaper than the well known vacs too. The large hose diameter is ideal for my use and the suction has always been excellent. The only downside I foresee is that, if should ever fail, I suspect I won't be able to buy another of this model. If anyone is considering buying a second hand unit, I'd say go for it.
good value for money – I've had this vacuum for about 8 yr now and it is still working very well. It is rather noisy but I'm okay with that. I bought it mainly for the workshop and also for cleanups during renovation works. I have definitely had my moneys worth with this. It has been used on many projects from floor re-sanding cleanups rights through to flooding mop ups. The only criticism I have is the the hose set up (the diameter is too big which reduces the suction for smaller objects and makes it difficult to vacuum car interiors. Easy fix, I just picked up another vacuum from a verge side collection and performed a simple mod to allow the use of a smaller hose setup. Instantly this vacuum was as effective as our Dyson. I would recommend stocking up a couple of spare dry filters (SPWVG-0039), this is particularly useful if you intend to cleanup masonry dust. Overall, I am happy with this little trooper. Great value for money the hose setup is a bit akward due to its size
Has shortcomings but I love this machine – Very basic Vac.but got sick of far more expensive machines that couldn't handle my shedding dog and large and messy garage workshop without constant stopping, clearing blockages and cleaning filters. This Vac.so far has handled everything I have thrown at it with no problems at all.Have also taken to using it in the house(timber floors and rugs) with the head from a domestic machine attached and does a great job there too.The filters could be a bit more robust , think they will wear reasonably fast and is fairly noisy but so far very happy with this product .It was cheap,it works far better than I expected and is easy to carry, clean and use. Pretty well everything. Power cord could be slightly longer.
