Palmer's Cocoa Butter Nursing Cream

Way better than any lanoln products – A friend recommended this to me. I ended up having to order it online to get hold of some. It is so much better than any lanolin products available. I found the lanolin didn't last very long and became a bit sticky as it dried. Don't need to wash it off before a feed.

Good – A good product to relieve the stinging and irritation, and the price is incredibly competitive. I didn't find the results were very lasting unloess I applied it frequently, but my doctor checked the ingrediants and assured me that it was fine and wouldn't be a problem for the baby once it absorbed. I tried it during my second pregnancy because I couldn't find the product I had used previously. It did seem to heal the cracked nipples but the result wasn't long lasting, even though it was immediate. Felt a bit sticky, didn't last as well as other pridycts I've used

Excellent – Very good product. I would recommend this product to new mums who are scared to breastfeed and also for any mums who are having trouble breastfeeding and enduring sore and cracked nipples as a result. Also a fantastic product for ANY mum breastfeeding as it seemed to PREVENT the cracking by keeping the nipples moisturised! Better and longer lasting than most lanolin and sorbelene products too and much more soothing. Also no need to wash the product away before feeding bub which can be a painful task! Fantastic product! Great for preventing cracks in the nipples and great or soothing them. Doesn't need to be washed off before feeding baby again so it's safe to use. Nothing. Very good product.

Good – This is a relatively good product when you're at that stage where you're cracked nipples are completely unbearable. Using breastmilk on your nipples is the best solution though, and using breastmilk from the get go, even if you're not experiencing pain is the best prevention to ever get so bad that this cream is warranted. And although this product doesn't need to be washed off before baby feeds, neither does breastmilk need washing off, and breastmilk has excellenth soothing and healing properties. Fantastic cream when nipples are unbearably cracked and raw and using breastmilk on them, doesn't help. Stops the stinging pain almost immediately. Ingredients are relatively safe for baby compared to others on the market. Not as safe for baby as using breast milk on the cracked nipples.
