An amazing machine – It’s the best bread machine I have ever owned and it’s my fourth machine I have had it for 10 years or more now and it still works well Show details · 1
Head and shoulders above the rest – I purchased the sd253 second hand recently and I couldn't be happier. The bread it makes is so much better than my old breadmaker (and I had been pretty happy with it). The bread lasts longer and tastes better. It's also less noisy. So far I have only made basic bread but I look forward to trying other recipes. Show details
PERFECT PURCHASE, ALWAYS BRILLIANT RESULTS – This machine simply cannot fail, bakes perfect bread and makes marvellous dough. I did try ready made bread mixes but quickly moved on to buying organic ingredients, easy to pop them in and have a loaf that's better than anything in the shops. Recipe and instruction book is very clear.
Best purchase – My Panasonic automatic bread maker would be my favourite kitchen appliance by far, as you program it to start up while you sleep and upon wakening you can smell that beautiful aroma of fresh bread with steam still bellowing from the loaf and the taste is even better because you know its home made by you. I would recommend this product highly for you can't get any fresher. You can't beat fresh bread nothing
Excellent – I have this bread-maker for four years and it baked 1-2 breads a day, every day! It did not failed me yet, but I forgot to put some ingredients sometimes! I use unbleached flour without bread improver, but like to add seeds, spelt, soy and besan flour, and we eat different bread every day. We live in QLD on the coast, and on humid days it does need… Read more · 1
a bit more yeast. It is very easy to use machine allowing you to play with all sorts of bread recepies. There are three different loaf sizes, that you can bake as much bread as you need for the day. With quick program bread can be baked in 2 hours!
this is absolutely perfect...one of the best machine in my kitchen!!! – love it simply!i have tried all recipes in the book and they come out perfect everytime.....no matter if i m not using ingredients accurately.....very easy to clean, sometimes i just wipe it with clean wet paper towel and its ready to use again.i want to gift this to all my loved ones but its quite expensive.....though i got it secondhand for 20$ only. every thing abt it. heavy..i want to parcel it to my sis overseas.....:(
Excellent – The most reliable thing I have ever owned. Find a space on the bench to keep it and use it every day. Making loaf from scratch is easy and smells better than the packet mixes. Buy a Panasonic breadmaker, you wont regret it. I have had my SD-200 Panasonic bread maker for 12 years. I have made hundreds of loaves and every one came out as it should… Read more · 3
have. My model doesn't have a window or auto dispenser but that doesn't bother me. Loaves take 3-5 hours or use the timer as an alarm clock for the morning and the house smells like a bakery when you awake- heaven! Nothing found in 12 years of usage.
Excellent – My machine is a Panasonic SD-250. It is an absolutely amazing breadmaker. I had a Breville BB-250 and thought it was OK until I purchased the Panasonic so that I could make larger loaves. I now realise that the Breville was about a 1 or 2 star machine in relation to the Panasonic's richly deserved 5 stars. The Breville had trouble with pre-mixes,… Read more
particularly those from Laucke Mills - I was constantly fiddling with and experimenting with mix or flour/water proportionsproportions. The Breville was OK with its own 'from scratch' recipes, but the Panasonic is streets ahead with any recipe or pre-mix. I thought the Breville produced decent bread, but that was only until I saw (and tasted) what the Panasonic could do with the same recipe or pre-mix. These dramatically different results are produced with no fiddling whatsoever. I simply throw in the ingredients, press START and a perfect loaf results - every time. Everything. It makes perfect bread every time Not so easy to use and display can be a bit hard to read. A viewing window would be nice
Good – I read the label on my usual shop-bought loaf of bread and it scared me! So I bought a power grain mill, a bag of wheat, $30 of other ingredients and a Panasonic SD-253 breadmaker. Home made bread tastes great, is full of wholesome nutrients, natural fibre with no nasties. Slice it, pop in the freezer, then see if you can the loaf last more than a… Read more
few days! Easy to use. You can make bread to suit your own taste. If you grind your own wheat you can make bread like it used to be or you can buy the pre-mixed packets from the supermarket. You can make bread with no preservatives or additives, with nuts and seeds, gluten-free - whatever you like. You have to be patient while it mixes, rests, kneads, rises and then bakes - 3.5 to 5 hours! Best to set timer at night to have the bread ready for the morning. The bonus is the incredible smell of fresh bread throughout the house.
Excellent – I have recomended the Panasonic bread maker to many people. It's the only brand I like. I have a few friends who have used other brands, and the bread is not as nice, ours is light and crusty. I have had Panasonic bread makers for over 15 years, and I don't want to buy any other brand. I have made boo boos by putting in the wrong amount of flour… Read more
or water, and the bread still comes out eatable. My mothers first bread maker (of another brand) would flop if you had the water the wrong temperature! Or be 5 mls out in your water measurement. Sorry, I don't have a 'con'
Good – Excellent machine, infallible, good range and selection of recipes, love the delay option and the amount of time you have it on delay for . . . very user friendly apart from non-stick pan and recipe book measurements re sizing delay cook option, style, easy to use, good recipe selection non stick pan is NOT non stick, dificult to clean bottom of machine, recipe measurements difficult to translate to cup measurements
Excellent – I have lost my instruction book and cannot use the machine. It would be nice to be able to access a recipe book in the Inernet Machine is easy to operate If you lose the instruction book, you are screwed.
Excellent – I just love it - it is just so easy to use and the bread always turns out right. It is also great when you are having a dinner party to have the lovely smell of bread just out of the oven for the guests. I bought this bread maker because the saleslady said it was the best one on the market. They don't make it any more. It is also a bit hard to clean.
Excellent – i absolutley love my breadmaker and enjoy cooking with it everyday! everyone needs one of these handy little things...its also a fraction of the acual cost of buying one every second day! such an easy to use machine and the bread turns out perfect everytime! the fruit and nut dispenser allouws me to mix the dough and nut ect in the bread maker and… Read more
then make little bread buns and cook them in the oven!i mix the dough in the bread maker first because it gives all the nessesary pounding ect and then i take the dough out ...cut it in two pieces and put it in bread pans and cook...it creates smaller loave's such as the ones you would buy in the supermarkets. nothing wrong with it exept the loave are too big
