Panasonic RP-HC500

Good – I was able to get these headphones almost for free from Qantas frequent flier miles. I am planning a couple of long trips and I find noise canceling headphones a great relief on a long flight. If money were no object, I might have bought the Bose, but I am happy with the sound of these. The bass is a little weak, but I think an audiophile will want studio headphones. These do quite nicely for airline, train, or bus travel. The full ear cover design is good and though I have not worn them for hours on end yet, they seem quite comfortable. The noise canceling feature seems to work very well. Light, comfortable, nice carrying case. Could have slightly better bass response.
