Panasonic TH-L47DT50A / TH-L55DT50A

Well made tv with worth picture and decent sound – Great picture quality, nice and sharp and sound works perfectly well even at loud volume. Plenty of ports and connections, and WiFi works well. The built in software could do with an upgrade as far as apps are concerned, and the user interface is staring to look a bit dated now, but overall very happy with it.

Good TV, VieraLink needs work – The TV is excellent, but Panasonic need to do some more work on the VieraLink system. It doesn't quite work properly with a Panasonic DVD player and Home Theatre system. I ended up disabling it, just to get the sound working when switching the TV on. Turn the TV sound down when using a home theatre system - it "echos" the TV, and can be disconcerting. (It would be less of a problem if the TV speakers were on the front, not the back) Very clear, hook up to the internet was simple, and mounted on the wall with ease. Instructions are easy to follow White is not quite even over the whole screen, VieraLink has problems communicating to two Panasonic add-on systems
