Beautiful TV – Must say, I was never a fan of big screen TV's. For me picture is not that important and I was happy with by 42 inch samsung LCD. When I decided to upgrade there were so many to choose from. The salesman advised that sony and samsung are the top of the range panasonic and LG next in line. I could not see much difference besides the frame design to be honest. For me it was about the remote and the menu structures.

Panasonic seem to flow faster and more intuitively. The Smart menu provided easier access and the remote just felt premium. That was the selling point for me.

One other factor was the rigidness of the frame. I know you never move the TV around much but visually the TV just looks more robust and premium. The more expensive alternatives seemed flimsier.

From the large selecting the premium feel of the remote and frame of the TV were the swaying points.

Excellent picture quality – Bought the 47 inch LED/LCD model after some months of research and at a special price. As a main loungeroom TV, it has excellent picture quality and we did not even have to pay for any TV antenna adjustments. Every digital channel comes through clearly and the picture so bright that you have to turn down the picture settings. The supplied TV base is a solid metal construction and it won't easily fall over. Tuning and setup was easy and a detailed manual explains all the features.

You can also record to an SD card instead of a DVD recorder and connect to the web with the inbuilt wifi modem. The only major issue I see is the size, as you need 2 people to move it, but if you aren't going to be moving it anywhere quickly and your room is fairly large, then it is great as a main TV. Picture, sd card recording, clear manual/instructions, wifi modem

Im so happy ! – After several days of looking at various TV's in shops and reading reviews etc online, I settled on this amazing LCD/LED 3D capable TV from Panasonic. In brief, it's amazing. The 3D is clear and we dont notice any of the black lines caused by the 3D, unless youre too close to the screen. We sit an average of 3M from the screen and its clear as full HD to me. Cheap initial cost for the size and quality. Cheap and lightweight 3D glasses compared to active 3D TV's glasses.
