The visible salt and flavour disappeared. They changed the recipe. The pretzel is wheaty and bland and frankly quite disgusting and disappointing. Will not be buying the product anymore Show details

Sad of losing parkers pretzels – I have been buy these pretzels on and off for years. I bought a pack the other day and they tasted raw and under cooked. I assumed that was a bad batch. I went and bought again expecting the toasted, salty crispness. So disappointed to find the recipe has changed. So sad that I will have to go to a competitor who does it right. Show details

not ideal – We usually love Parker’s pretzels and choose to spend the extra money buying this brand because it always seems to be so much better quality than the generic brand but this time we were left very unsatisfied with a large chunk of the pretzels in this lump of uncooked mess. Show details

Change the Recipe – Undercooked undersalted, bits of hard disgusting dough. Everyone knows the coles and woolies brand pretzels are rubbish, it's why we spent the extra dollar on these. Not anymore unless the recipe gets changed back. What a foolish decision. Show details

First try of the new recipe. Absolutely fantastic!!! – I found the new recipe to be very flavorsome. The consistency appears to be lighter than what I remember from the original pretzels. Good decision to make this change. Show details

Can eat a 225g bag in one sitting! – I'm new to Parkers's Pretzels so I don't know what the old style tasted like, but as a new customer to these pretzels I can honestly say that they are more'ish and delicious! Don't change a thing I love them as they are! Show details

Excellent – I am unsure if they still make my favourite flavour which was tomoto and basil. They are just devine. I could eat a whole packet if I let myself. I also like the plain ones. I often buy these pretzels instead of potato chips just for something different. They are crunchy and the saltiness just makes them so delicious. They are priced similar to… Read more

chips. Actually I feel like some right now! Fantastic option to have instead of potato chips when you are all chipped out. I find if we have them when friends are over they are quite popular so don't last long. I really love these pretzels so have nothing bad to say about them. I guess they are not the healthiest snack option but really who needs to be healthy all the time?

Its been 4 years since they changed the recipe and these still suck – If you are going to the trouble of making pretzals why not just leave them in the oven for a few more minutes and fully cook them? These are a bit like those pizzas you get from a cheap franchise brand or those Maccas chips that shoulda been left in the cooker until it buzzed. They don't even look like the front of the packet, instead they are almost yellowy-white in colour and horrible. Show details

Cardboard has more flavour – Omg please don't buy, no wonder they were on special, even my dog wouldn't eat them. Bland bland bland, I was even eyeing of the packaging, you can't possibly think this product is saleable. Just rubbish. Stupid me bought 2 packets, there's a disgusting waste of $4.30. Show details

Baked pretzel minis cheese – Contacted you about 15 years ago to ask if you were ever going to bring back the cheese flavour back of which I was told no. Today I was so excited to find you have in fact brought back the cheese flavour in a mini pack. Having spent 3 years eating these every single day was extremely disappointed, the recipe has changed and they are not nice.… Read more

Please go back to the original recipe and bring them back in full size packets . If something works leave it alone

Disappointed – Not toasted. No one wants a blonde pretzel. Only buy them when store brands are not available which are toasted well. They used to be toasted so what happened? Not sure. Show details

Garbage but they don't care – They obviously don't care if their product is bland and tasteless. People on here have been stating it for years but they clearly don't the slightest of trucks. Don't go whinging when you go bankrupt, Parkers. The reviews have been consistently telling you that your product is garbage since you chyour recipe. Show details

Pretzel shame – Why do I want to eat very ordinary tasting pretzels made in Poland. I don't have an old packet to compare, but assume taste and texture scraficed for cheaper overseas manufacturing. Shame. Show details

Utter Crap – Have been an avid consumer of these pretzels for years, and I cannot attest enough to how god awful they are in 2021. These are by far the most pathetic excuse for a bag of pretzels in existence. Try Coles' pretzels for nearly half the price and you'll get something twice as good. Freaking disgusting. Show details

If I could give them less stars I would blah – Covid bought us so many changes obviously Parker's (Smith's) was not immune.. Powdery, tasteless and pale. No redeeming qualities remain avoid them like the plague. Thanks too many words when nothing good to say...  Show details

Lost the plot – They have gone from crunchy tasty to pasty powdery. Very bland and disappointing. I have to have 30 words to post this review. They are not worthy of any more words (ps. That was 31 words!) Show details

The age of lower quality continues – One of the latest victims of lowering costs and quality because of market capitalism. From nice and brown with chunks of salt to pale crap with sodium seasoning. Quality across the beverage and food industry has lowered so much for cost cutting, as somebody who was in the industry for 16 years, its all about market share in this f'd up system we are enslaved by.  Show details

Burnt and too salty – Opened up my newly purchased pack, only to face the gross discovery that the pack is completely different to the one I had purchased months earlier. This pack has all burnt and too salty pretzels inside. I hadn't purchased Parker's brand in a while, but did earlier this year and because those pretzels were fantastic, I went back for a repeat purchase, only to be disappointed. Won't buy them again. Show details

Brown Clumps To Court – We are taking this to court the disgrace that we have been treated with is highly disgusting, I bobbed to the shops in hope of some tantalizing pieces of heavenly delight but as I opened them up a dark world had consumed me, it was horrific, the dark monstrous sight of a mould pretzel had flashed my poor eyes, the shock overcoming me like a… Read more

vigorous wave. Disappointment was an understatement, I was disgusted. As I quickly spread the horrific deadly news around of a mould pretzel outbreak the fear in the petite eyes of my acquaintances was surely present as they began to pack their bags as fast as a flying perigrine falcon. The following day, a disastrous dark time had consumed me, I was deteriorating. Depression had not let me sleep as fearful flashbacks of the mouldy monster had awoken from the dead to haunt me for the rest of my life IN SUMMATION, kids don't eat parkers mini pretzels unless your a complete maniac and have issues.

Won't be buying these EVER again – I used to eat 2 packets a week, then they changed and every few months I retry them but the last purchase from Woolworths 05/05/20 left me disgusted. Really underbaked and flavourless – I bought these recently after previously having bought them for at least 8 years. The last pack I had were awful. Underbaked and tasteless, totally blond. Don't know what happened to them. Thought it was a defective packet but after reading the reviews on here, probably not. Do yourself a favour, buy the Coles branded ones that are made in the USA instead. Crunchy, dark baked and salty how they should be. Show details

PLEASS add some salt – These pretzels use to be great. I grew up with them salty and flavoursome. Now they have cheaper out and the is almost NO SALT on them. As far as ingredients go salt isn't that expensive. They must notice a decline in sales. Please please please fix these things Show details

Why mess around with a good thing! – I don't know what they have done but the latest serving of Parkers Pretsels left me underwhelmed. Totally tasteless, bland, undersalted and appears to be undercooked. What happened to the original brown colour? Unfortunately I bought 2 packs!? Show details
