some good features, maybe I was expecting too much image quality – For the money,given the zoom plus macro its reasonable value. Beware: The iso goes to auto on startup and can result in grainy photos. Need to change it to low iso in the menu to ensure nice photo's I have been spoiled by my Pentax Kx on image quality, but this is a good alternative for wildlife and macro all in one. Poor battery life - Buy an extra.

Very good flash photo's, even using macro.

If your using it for wildlife, buy a tripod!!!

Excellent – This is my camera of choice. I recommend it to anyone who does not want to pay for a DSLR. You have to love something this great that costs under $400. Great to hold, the zoom is 26x optical. It's able to take a clear shot of Eureka Tower Skydeck all the way from Albert Park. That's a long way away. It's fast. Takes brilliant shots & there is also an adapter you can buy to add filters onto it so it's like a DSLR without the lens being changed all the time. Great for entry level or professional like myself. It has all the features you could want and then there are the effects it can do as well. None that I can find so far.
