Big pram for tall children – I love this pram. I park it inside my front door and leave it assembled. It is a big pram which is great for me because I have tall children. It does take up a large amount of boot space so better if you have a big car. It pushes beautifully even with one hand. My tyres did deflate in the first week, so I had them hard filled at the local tyre… Read more

shop and would highly recommend others do the same (the weight of the hard fill did not impact functionality).

I put my new born straight in the toddler seat at the back, he was fine there from 1 week old.

Folding the pram with two seats is a skill, but does work. I find it easier to take the second seat off when folding.

I do have a second small light weight pram that I use for quick trips when my 2.5 year old can walk and we are in and out of the car.

Disappointed – Bought this pram based on a few previous reviews but after 3 weeks wish I'd done a bit more research. Tyres completely bald through after only three weeks. 2 replacement tyres cost $55. Exercise in frustration to fit them. This is a common issue I have subsequently found out about. Cheaper 12' version wheels will not fit the wheel, only the… Read more

original, expensive and sub par quality wheels supplied by Phil & Teds.

Avoid, unless you enjoy fitting expensive replacement tyres every 2 months.

Almost perfect – I researched and test drove many prams that could carry a toddler and baby, as well as fit into my small hatchback. The Verve ticked most of the boxes with it's ability to be compact once folded, high weight capacity for both seats and handbrake (so much easier on my footwear). I'm really impressed by how this pram remains stable when my toddler… Read more

gets in and out of the top seat, if my 7 month old is sitting underneath.

The only faults are it is very heavy (13kg) lifting in and out of the car. This can be overlooked given its sturdiness. The sunshade over the main seat comes off easily when loading the pram into the car. Unfolding the pram can be a bit tricky, perhaps this can be refined. Finally, the additional seat when attached below the main seat, doesn't allow for a lot of leg room. My two and a half year old is on the small side and isn't very happy sitting underneath. Compact when folded, good weight limit, useful handbrake. Heavy, tricky to unfold.

Perfect for our big 3year old and baby. Great quality – The stand out feature of the Verve is that the toddler seat that attaches underneath has a very generous max weight limit of 20kgs. This is 3kgs more than any other I found. And our tall 3 year old loves sitting in it and even fell asleep in it (she hasn't slept in a pram for more than a year!) because the seat is so comfortable. Her knees aren't… Read more

up around her ears like in some prams and although she's taller than the top of the seat back she can still rest her head on it. The toddler seat's sun canopy can be shifted up so there's plenty of head room for my daughter.

The steering can be one handed no matter whether the heavier child is in the main seat or the toddler seat because the pram is designed so well.

The pram folds with both seats still attached! There's a little button that you have to press to push the toddler seat in and its a bit tricky to find the first time but no worries after that.

This made my life a lot easier. The fewer steps involved the better.

The seats are great for summer because they have ventilation with holes in the back - looks good too. The set belt straps are really easy to adjust, even with the child strapped in. They use a twist and move kind of system.

I think Phil & Teds should promote this pram a lot more because it really has some unique features that make it perfect for those of us with an older child who still needs to sit/lie down and a little baby.

The one disadvantage is that once your baby is too big for the car capsule (I have the safe n sound unity - new 2012 version, which fits the adapter perfectly and fits a baby of up to 12 months - much more than a normal capsule) then you can have the baby facing you. I have been overcoming this by putting my younger one in the toddler seat so he can look up at me and interact that way.

After readig the other reviews i think there must have been a bad batch becauee ive never had a problem with the wheels and te shop i bought my pram from sold heaps and They said theyve never had one problem with the wheels reported. and they deal with p&t on behalf of customers all te time

The seats are beautifully padded and look great too. Nice for long shopping trips or long days out. Generous max weight limit and head room on toddler seat. Expensive, but the quality is worth it. I'm not a fan of air filled tyres either but not much choice with inline double prams except for baby jogger city select which is difficult to steer. Once car capsule is no loner in use, there's no parent facing option (but my littlie just looked up at me instead).

Great design - disappointed with the quality – Purchased the verve as we were after a four wheel pram that could accommodate our 15month old and new born. The Verve has great versatility in that the extra seat can be put above or below the main seat or even just use the pram as a single stroller. The wheels are nice and big to absorb bumps etc and there is some good storage and nice range… Read more

of accessories.

To Phil and Teds credit they have immediately agreed to replace the pram but unfortunately the quality of the construction does not mirror the quality of design. Our wheels literally were falling off within 3 months of purchase and the tyres are already worn bare and we've had to repair punctures.

We've really only used the extra seat once as our new born turned out to be 10 weeks early so we were reluctant to have him sitting in the pram. Our experience with the extra seat though is that it does not easily line up with the allotted holes it should fit and makes removal difficult and frustrating especially when the second seat is on top and you are keen to pick up a screaming baby underneath.

We also found that when trying to unfold the pram its frame did not line up - you have to literally man handle the frame to lock it in place. Not really what I would expect from a pram costing what it does.

Also at the top of second seat there is a plastic adjustment that is rebated into the metal work but the cutting of this metal is poor with rough edges - a minor issue for most items but not something I want close to my children.

Overall this is a good pram and I really want to like it but shortcuts in manufacture have made it into something I unfortunately could not recommend. I am happy with Phil and Teds response but would hope they take steps to improve their quality in the manufacturing stage. Great design and range of accessories Very poor quality for any pram let alone one at this price point.

Love it! – We had previously had a P&T Explorer and had lots of issues including faulty brakes. I returned it and we decided to try the Verve. We have not been in the slightest bit disappointed. It looks fantastic, folds easily into our sedan, the kids think its great, the oldest is now 3.5 yrs and the youngest almost 2 and they both still fit well. We are… Read more

hoping for another baby and it will then be used for the baby and the toddler and I know it will be excellent. The two best things about it: being able to fold it all in one into the car (no removing seats or wheels) and being able to recline the bottom seat. Highly recommend spending the $$ to get a buggy of this quality. being able to fold it all in one into the car (no removing seats or wheels) and being able to recline the bottom seat. It is expensive but we use it all the time and we love it so feel it is money well spent!

Good design - beware of 2011 build quality – Similar to other reviews of the Verve, we found our tyres wearing through within 6 weeks. The second set of tyres wore out after 10 days. P&T when contacted by our retail supplier immediately replaced the frame and wheels within insufficient instructions on how to carry out the repair. New frame is re-engineered and appears to work OK. Can't help… Read more

but feel P&T is outsourcing the "making good" of this design fault. All up, I've spent around 6 hours taking the pram to unhelpful supplier, dealing with P&T and replacing frame. Be wary of this model and brand. Unlikely to buy P&T again. Supplier had no idea re fault (or feigned lack of knowledge). P&T should be advising the market of design faults pre-emptively. Functional Design Design Fault, Pricing - this is "BMW" of prams but "Jeep" of build quality

Best pram I have had – I researched prams for months before deciding on the Verve, with my second child on the way I needed a double buggy to suit my toddler and accommodate a newborn. Things I love about the pram is how easy it is to push, I can use one hand and drink my coffee! The second seat reclines so baby gets to lie back and sleep when we go for walks. Folds up… Read more

with the toddler seat attached so I don't have to fiddle around also very compact when folded.

All up I love it and find it easy to push, love the hand brake. Comfy seats as they are cushioned, great suspension and stability with four wheels. Great for our long walks Great quality, good sun hoods, both seats recline if baby and toddler want to sleep. Doesn't tip when toddler jumps in and out. Looks great, strong suspension, easy to fold
