Excellent Product – We've had this TV for nearly over 5 years now and it still works perfectly. I wish it had more connectivity options, but image, quality, ambient light are excellent. I would buy it again if it was refreshed with more connectivity.
Bad LCD TV – I have had this tv for three years now. It was ok until it started making squaking noise when I switched it on. Last night we were watching it and then it just went blank, the sound was there but the picture was non-existent. From what I have read online this is a common problem with this make of TV and I believe the inverters (master and slave or one of them)are defective. They do not look cheap online, I am sending the TV to philips repairer soon.
This is my second philips lcd tv and they suffer the same problems, and or should I say my last one. Good clear picture and sound, can be updated via USB flash stick. Expensive, $2400 for a 42 inch tv, tv is dead now anyway.

Recommend taking the TV to a Philips Authorised Service Centre to have it diagnosed. Depending on how far outside warranty and actual fault we may consider covering part of the repair under leniency.

Great – This TV has not dissapointed my family or myself. We got it 3 years ago and there has been no issues with it what so ever. Bright picture, decent resolution and user friendly. The remote is very easy to use. I would highly recommend this to anyone
Excellent – Very realistic colours! Ambiligh is giving unique impression as in cinema. I bought it because it was cheaper then Sony with the same quality and comes with 3 year warranty. Good sound. Modern style. Can be mounted on a wall or turnable on a stand. I love the TV Clear picture, Ambilight is magic!

I have basically the same problem 1 side of my screened fading the other side cllear as a bell no line down centre just fading . Just out of warranty . I won't be buying Phillips again
