Philips AZ1856/98

I loved it until I lost the remote – This machine performs fantastic, as long as you have the remote. Then many simple functions like random shuffle cannot be accessed. Who the heck wants to play all 1000 songs off their USB in alphabetical order? Update (01/12/2014): Awful after sales service Unfortunately, the unit requires the remote control to access "mode" & "prog" functions. After hours of trying to access a replacement remote control I just gave up. Philips refer you to a parst supplier called southside electronics, southside electronics tell you that model & part number must be supplied. Philips can't tell you the part number (not sure why, guess it was too hard for someone to look it up) & instead tell you to contact Southside, who again say they don't process orders over the phone - get the part number & order on line, oh & by the way freight will be $15.90... Success at last, Rain from the chat service got me a part number... Fail again... It doesn't come up on Southside's website, nor does the model. Guess it just isn't supported in Australia..
