Fantastic product – I have had my Philips cordless iron for about 10 years and love it. I hate ironing with a passion, mostly because the cord gets in the way and moves the item of clothing before you can iron it. No such problem with a cordless iron. I am looking at getting a new iron as mine now leaks water from the reservoir, i guess a seal dried out and cracked. I can't seem to find a Philips cordless, but will definitely go cordless again.

I have never had a problem with it going cold, heats up quickly and does a great job.

Best iron we have had – We have had this iron for many years now and it is still going strong even though it has been dropped a few times. Unfortunately it seems no manufacturers are making cordless irons these days otherwise we would probably update to the latest version. Versatile, comfortable, cordless, works very well.

Terrible – If you're planning to use the cordless feature regularly then you will be disappointed as you must constantly recharge the heat - making the "cordless" feature a waste of time for me. We always took care to put cord away carefully, yet somehow it became badly worn on 5 places. Leaked badly with brown water despite regular "self-clean". Plate forever filthy despite regular cleaning with Rubbedin.

Terrible – I bought this iron thinking I was getting a great deal - and I liked the cordless idea - well - it was always dripping and leaking stained water on my whites - yuk! - also if you used it with the cord attached it was very heavy to use - I took it back twice to replace in and on the third time I just wanted my money back - not worth the money at all - the cordless feature always leaking and dripping - very heavy to use with the cord attatchment on

Excellent – Look, I my cordless Phillips iron has jsut died on me after 10 years. I am upset that I can't get a part because I don't want to get a different one. It was so good. Then again, now I have two corldless models to chose from. Can take it off the base and wander to the other end of long tablecloths! Nothing. People should ask me if they can do my ironing because it is great to use.(and I hate ironing)
