Qasair Universal Series

Quiet, and a serious exhaust for those who like to use a wok or grill – We bought this as part of a kitchen renovation and wanted a top notch exhaust, as I like to do stir frys, grills and things that can smoke up a kitchen (and I don't want the smoke alarm going off every time). The first thing was - it was so quiet, so quiet we needed to check it was working by using a paper towel - and it did this very well. Even on high it is quiet. The high thing is really good too. The filters are dishwasher proof so it's low maintenance, that and a quick wipedown brings it to new. The pipe that went from the exhaust to the roof was quite expensive, and qasair won't warrant a non qasair pipe, so this needs to be considered in the costs, but even so, this exhaust is well worth it. I have had zero smoke alarm going off while cooking since I have had this exhaust. I am well pleased and would buy this again. Quiet and does it mod well Expensive, but you get what you pay for

Fantastic - Quiet and efficient and worth every cent!! – We purchased the UV800 (800 wide) single fan model as part of a complete kitchen reno. After spending hours getting rid of the grime from the previous recirculating rangehood we wanted a ducted unit that was efficient, quiet and would fit inside a cupboard so it would be unobtrusive. After checking out many brands we came across the Qasair. Expensive - yes but its stainless steel finish, very quiet operation and large bore ducting capacity realised that this was a small price to pay for something that was well built, and actually draws the fumes up and out rather than spreasing them around the kitchen. On low speed you can hardly hear it running - a couple of times I have left it on by mistake. We rarely use high speed but it will suck the air out of the house quickly. Compare the quiet operation and high airflow with other models and you will be impressed. It is a pleasure cooking with this - no fumes, quiet and the external ducting provides the neighbours with a lovely cooking aroma. Well built, filters easy to remove and being stainless steel can go into the dishwasher, very quiet and highly efficient extraction
