very versatile fishing platform – excellent fishing craft, stable especially without trigger fitted , light to transport. the smaller 300 size is ideal at only 32kg. second rosco I have owned , should have never sold the first
Excellent – This particular canoe was purchased after several months of reasearch into canoes that can be car topped, handled within a weight range that was easy for us as we get a bit older, can be paddled for some exercise and still have the ability to motor home against the tide. Whilst a outrigger kit is available for increased stability when motoring we did not at any time feel that the boat was unduly instable or tender in the turns. We fitted a 2.5 Suxuki 4 stroke outboard which gives a nice comfortable 5 knots at half revs and adds to the enjoyment of a run home when wind and tide conspire against you. The boat is an absolute joy to poke around in those quite waterways and draws some admiring glances along the way. With the addition of some support seats such as those within kayaks, a anchor rope runner to the bow and a small esky strapped onto the mid bracing rail the canoe is ready for some serious fish chasing in protected waterways. Well built and versitile, suits a small motor and I have fitted a 2.5 hp pertol. I have been looking at several different canoes to fish in and this was by far the best. Nothing at this point as I have only had it 3 weeks. Ideal for us older generation as it is easy handled onto a smallish car.
