I do not have Russell Hobbs Cyclone. But I have Hepa clonic which I have used for about 15years that is still working well. I am impressed about it Show details
They make a quality vacuum cleaner if you know how to use it – Nobody reads the manual. I get it. I was no different. But when it was switching off quickly to protect itself from heat build up, I rang the manufacturer. It's a good thing it does switch off too. And good I called. Still, I could have read the manual. The thing is, the foam inserts are meant to be cleaned regularly and you've got to give them a… Read more
wash or a good bash, especially if you are vacuuming up gluey stuff, like I was, with construction dust (masonry brick drillings, sawdust etc.). Now I treat the filters right, keep them clean, and this unit performs flawlessly. In many years I haven't even had to replace the foam or paper filters.
Vacuuming all that's needed in a 500 square meter home.
Replacement parts not available – Quite happy with the performance of this vacuum until the rotating brush drive belt snapped. Russell Hobbs are unwilling/unable to supply a replacement belt, so the unit is now completely useless. I have searched many avenues to acquire a suitable belt, but it seems that there is nothing available. Not surprised that this model is now discontinued. Show details
Just terrible – Thought it will be good but it's not. It doesn't serve the purpose of being a vacuum cleaner is all I can say. Why do you need a vacuum cleaner that doesn't do the job?
Don't waste your money – When I first found and looked at this 2in1 vacuum I was very impressed with its looks and features , after a month of owing it I decided to dispose of it "what a waste of money" trying to vacuum small particles including cat litter, forget it!!!! It picks it up and when you lift the vacuum to move to another area, most of what you vacuumed falls… Read more
out after trying so hard to pick it up to begin with!! No matter if you had just emptied it and cleaned the filter.
The problem being, not enough suction and a little rubber gateway that keeps the stuff you just vacuumed is too flimsy to hold anything in the cylinder. Poorly designed Bad design
ABSOLUTE WASTE OF ONEY – After ever square meter you have to empty the 'Vac'. Today I thought I'd give it another try. It wouldn't even pick up a small piece of popcorn and a bit of leaf. The neck is so thin that it gets clogged up with any fluff and it's not easy to clean - a chopstick ended up being my cleaning tool. I see that they have discontinued this Vac - they… Read more
should give anyone who has purchased one a replacement with an upgrade or a refund! I won't be buying Russell Hobbs again. The first time I used it was good Badly designed
Not impressed – At first i was excited not to have to worry about cords and bumping into walls but then when i had to first charge for 15 hours only to have it last half an hour i was very disappointed. the hand held and the whole unit is pretty gutless. it requires continual emptying throughout the chore as well as clearing the heads practically each room. not… Read more
good on carpets, i found myself going over the same spot again and again. its a pity its not powerful like i'm used to but the cordless part of it is the only good thing going for it in my opinion. its cordless not powerful enough
Great at first – I loved this vacuum initially. While not as powerful as a normal vacuum it was great for giving our hard floors a quick once over - a good alternative to a broom. When we bought it I was pregnant and it was wonderful because it was so light and easy to use. However after 4 months of use it began to lose power and at 5 months it died… Read more
completely.
Target exchanged it for a new one so it remains to be seen if it's a fault with the product itself or just the one we bought. Light fast and easy to use Only worked well for 4 months
Very disappointed – Not too bad on hard floor, but still had to use a broom... although it did get into corners and under the bed, it is absolutely hopeless on carpets. After very little use during a 6 month period, it wouldn't switch off but because I could not find the original receipt or purchase on my bank statement (I later remembered I had used Gift Vouchers,… Read more
so Target had no record) was unable to return it to the shop. My husband eventually pulled it apart and got it working again, but still feel it is pretty much useless and let down by the brand nameRussell Hobbs. Easy to empty, inexpensive Not good on carpet or mats
very disappointing for a RH product I would not recommend it – The hand held cleaner is very difficult to get into corners or use in a car because of the flat shape of the nozzle. When used as a full cleaner the dust gets clogged in the pipe of the cleaner and is very hard to clean out. It is very nosy the hand held vacuum for quick pick ups VERY noisy ,loud high pitch. Dust and dirt does not go all the way up the chanel into the vacuum - it clogs the pipe leading to the vacuum and is difficult to clean
love it! – I've been wanting an upright vacuum cleaner for a while now, but didn't want to spend big bucks on one. I bought this when it was on special for $99, so i saved $70. It took about 16 hrs to charge and then it was good to go. I can do my whole house on one charge, it works well on carpets too. I just love the fact that I can just get it out and do… Read more · 3
a quick clean up without worrying about extension cords and what not. Easy to put together, super easy to use, has a swivel head and a charger that you can have on the floor or wall mount. its easy to clean as well.
Not As Good as I Had Hoped! – I purchased this stick vacuum as a back up to my Miele simply for the smaller vac jobs around the home such as bathroom and kitchen, I have a huge loose hair problem- kid and dog !! Whilst its ok at picking up - although a trifle on the under powered side- its better on a hard surface than a carpeted one as the head tends to get caught in the pile… Read more
and lifts up. However it is easy to empty. My biggest gripe with it is that it doesn't pick up along edges which is a nuisance because you have to use the broom first, which is a little defeatist... Lightweight, easy to empty Doesnt pick up along edges Under powered
worthless, save your money, hardly picks up anything – despite regularly cleaning both filters and removing all traces of hair from brushes this unit hardly picks up anything. used lots of energy going over and over the same spots so maybe should be sold as an exercise unit. is particularly bad on carpets where it was a complete and total waste of time and energy. lightweight and compact storage ineffective
