ever being done to rectify the obvious problem of extremely poor materials used in the sponge. Avoid at all costs as it is just a total rip off from sabco with no regard for you as a customer.Bad, bad, bad.

extremely wide bucket to fit the whole head as it's stuck in horizontal position. 3. Does not pick up any dirt. Can not pick up dust, hair etc and just pushes them around. I always end up with bunches of dust and hair around the house that I have to pick up afterwards. I'm so confused, what is this designed for? If u have dry dirt in ur house, this is NOT for u. 4. Awkward to use. Head attached to stick at an angle and does not swivel, does not move an inch. Imagine gluing a sponge onto the end of stick, that's how it is. U wanna mop under furniture? It's not for u. U wanna mop the skinny spaces between ur furniture and the wall? This is not for u.

My apartment is not big and by the end of using this mop, I am exhausted and frustrated. I hate it so much I had to write this review. In summary, IT'S NOT FOR U. Trust me. Buy something else.

I have already played with removing the sponge and it is much much easier than the other large one I purchased. You have been amazing help and you have provided such fantastic customer service. Not perfect, but I can't live without it – I have been using the 4 post mops for more than 40 years. I only changed to a new mop when the green one became available, as my old mop handle became slightly bent from use, and I thought I deserved the new green one. I wish I still had the old one. perforations, deteriorate and the mop is then useless (everything still perfect except for the holes). I had a new cleaner coming so I puchased an Oates brand mop at the supermarket and the handle squeeze broke on the second use. I complained to Sabco a few weeks ago after three failures and was sent a replacement mop. It got lost in the post and was replaced with some additional sponges and cleaning clothes as a bonus. Ths size of the sponge gets into small spaces and the squeeze mechanism is easy to operate even with my arthritic hands. Anna at Sabco chased the missing mop and organised the replacement and was extremely helpful. I would still like the design to return to the non preforated holes, so I don't have to keep throwing out good mops, and contacting Sabco for replacements.

Sabco mop Xtra wide refill fail – I bought this refill two months ago and it came apart after just a couple of uses. The glue holding the sponge on is not strong enough. Two weeks ago I bought two new replacements from Bunnings and today one has failed after just one use! How can I arrange a replacement or buy refills that don't fail after a single use? replacement refills, more than enough to replace the failing refills. Very good service. Obviously a bad batch (different manufacturer?) has been sent out, but now the problem has been rectified.

Great after Service – I have had my Sabco mops for ages and never had any issues, unfortunately I purchased some refill sponges that were faulty because of a glue problem. I contacted Sabco Customer Service who were very prompt in replying. Ana dealt with the matter she was lovely and helpful and I have now received replacement sponges. send me a couple of replacements and I received them this morning! It is not often these days to get such great customer service and it really made my day.

Waste of time and money – Used this product twice, and the sponge fell apart, bought 2 pack refill thinking it may have been a once off with the sponge, however got the refills home and tried to change them over and the posts don’t fit! The original has 2 posts and the refill has 4 posts! This product was purchased to do a particular job, all it is doing is wasting my money and valuable time! Sponge mop – Paid $21 for this appalling product, used twice on small bathroom,Toilet and kitchen. Third time put in water, pulled it out to squeeze it out and half the sponge was unglued. Customer service appalling with not even an acknowledgement of complain! Show details

Second time around and its still dissapointing – I have now used the Sabco lightening mop and was disappointed with it as the sponge head fell off as the glue didn't hold it on. another go as I do like the mop itself, but really disappointed that the glue is still not effective. Unfortunately I had to buy some more refills, again, 3rd time lucky I hope, because I have a new puppy and was in desperate need of a something to mop up accidents. I doubt they will last but until I workout what I can replace this mop with, I am left with an unsatisfactory product. What a shame.

Great - for one use only – As per other reviews - the sponge detaches from the Sabco Easy Wring mop after one use. It is fine during the one use, but seems to detach whilst drying, so next time you go to use it, it is useless. Ana readily offered replacement with the new blue and yellow sponge and the items arrived very quickly. This is very good customer service.

Sabco Lightning Mop 4-Post Easy change refill – I have used the Sabco Lighting Mop for years and been happy with it. However, with the last couple of refills the sponge has come away from the base. I contacted Sabco Customer Service and could not have been more happy with Ana's response. A good product just improved out of sight – Don't know if I've ticked the right box but the new Sabco sponge is almost as brilliant as Ana,who came to my rescue when I struck problem with the old model sponge,coming unstuck from its base.Five stars for customer care!! tried them for 3 weeks and no problems to report It is still the best mop on the market and I feel sorry for Sabco after so many years of brilliant service they must have gone with a different manufacturer and unfortunately it has damaged their brand. Sponge falls off the mop – I agree with the other reviewers. The sponge mop sponge falls off when you first use it. Perhaps the glue that attaches the sponge to the hard plastic is watersoluble. Show details

Can I give zero stars? – Had my old Sabco mop for 20+ years. So disappointed with this one. Sponge shrinks while drying after 1st use and glue comes unstuck from mop. What bright spark thought of that idea???? Totally useless. Other refills do not fit as holes too large and won't hold. Absolute rubbish from what was once a reputable company.
