Just stay away, not worth it – The oven worked fine for 10 weeks. Then it wouldn't heat, just blow cold air. I logged a call with Samsung consumer support, what a nightmare just to get a technician out on site. They troubleshooted over the phone with me for ages. Samsung attempted to repair twice with an approved technician. Then the fun begins. No replacement stock… Read more
left of this model in Australia. Didn't have an equivalent model available and wouldn't upgrade to another one for me.
After much jumping up and down the Samsung rep for my local Harvey Norman came to the party.
I had the faulty unit removed and I spent the extra cash to upgrade to a Bosch. Money well spent.
I will never buy a Samsung consumer product after this customer service experience.
Never Buy a Samsung Oven – PURCHASED NEW 2 WEEKS (April 2016) AGO BUT NOTICED A 2012 BUILD!!. when SWITCHED ON CONTROL PANEL LIT UP BEAUTIFULLY BUT NO HEAT ANY OF THE 2 OVENS OR GRILL MODE. professionally INSTALLED. Service number: spent over an hour talking with a chap from India only to be told it was not working. No local service centre, it turns out because no-one will deal with Samsung. So took the whole shemozzle back to retailer for full refund.
We have now had this oven for 2 years and we love it – Over the years the dual cooking mode has been great, we have even cooked a sausage dish in the top section and a cake in the bottom at the same time, I was worried that the smells would intermingle, but they didnt and both cooked well. The steam cleaning function works well followed by the catalytic cleaning. Its easy to get to know how to use the… Read more
oven. The door is also quite easy to clean. We have only cleaned the oven once in 2 years and that was just to see how the cleaning functions work, but we really didnt need to clean it. Our favourite feature is the dual cooking, we also love the twin convection fans.
Don't buy this oven – Have had nothing but problems getting this repaired .Dont buy Samsung products and don't waste your money on extended warranty You will regret it and this product
Do not buy this oven – The worst thing about this oven is the moisture that leaks out of the bottom of it. It has completely ruined the wood at the bottom of our kitchen due to this leaking moisture. The self clean we have used once, after which everything was stiff and noisy in the oven. It is very small inside and the dual function, whilst good in theory is not… Read more
great to get anything quality out of the oven. The only thing worse than this oven was the hob which I brought to go with it.
Great in theory but a useless oven overall – I'm really surprised with all the positive review that I ended up with such a dud. This oven tried to be too clever for it's own good. No matter what I did everything took so much longer to cook in this oven. Everything came out as a failure - cakes, breads, roasts. The twin oven feature is great in theory but if you start with one half then… Read more
decide to use the other half a little later on, you have to change all the settings again. When I used the pyrolitic clean the inside of the door blew up and all the broken glass fell on the floor through the gap at bottom. That was it for me. Fortunately I had extended warranty and they replaced it with a different brand altogether.
Highly recommend Samsung oven – The Samsung oven cooks perfectly and the variations of cooking controls creates baking to perfection. Love the ability to use both the top and bottom of the oven at different temps and at the same time. Easy to maintain and clean. This oven has two lamps so can easily view both top and bottom oven areas. The slide out shelving is also excellent. Turns a basic cook into a pro. Instructions not easy to understand. Show 2 replies
I love my oven. It has features galore – This is a fantastic oven with so many features. The feature I love the most is it is a twin oven. But it also has an auto cook feature, rotisserie, telescopic rails, fast pre-heat, can turn off when the timer is set to end, can delay start to end cooking at a certain time of day etc. It is also pyrolytic and you can also steam clean it but it is… Read more · 6
very easy to wipe clean too. The best thing for me is it is a twin oven, i.e. you can insert a divider and use it as two separate ovens at once. This is so great for different parts of meals cooked at two different temperatures. Or you can remove the divider and have one big oven. The only negative I have found is the instructions could be a lot clearer. Also, Samsung head office in Melb were pretty hopeless at answering my enquiries.
Very good oven with all the modcons – So far this oven has been fantastic! I replaced a 4 year old Smeg with this & haven't looked back. The Smeg had hot & cold spots all over it, the Samsung is perfect. Love the twin convection & separator, I am always cooking at 2 different temperatures. (Which saves heaps of time & energy!) The coating is easy to keep clean, but if it needs a more… Read more · 2
thorough clean the 3 Pyro modes do a great job.
In summary, I would highly recommend this oven for the price you cannot beat the features. Ok, quality wise its no Miele etc but you'll need $4000+ for one of those with similar features! So make sure you get the extended warranty (just in case). Cheap, but not too cheap. Amazing features. Cooks well! Instruction manual is useless
