great trade up from my old CRT TV.

I do find the positioning of the downward facing internal speakers is fine in a quiet room, but when the room is a little noisy I really need to crank it up because the downward facing internal speakers just don't project well as compared to a typical a forward facing speaker cabinet. Not really a problem but worth remembering.

The layout of the remote control is a little hoopy as i find the component inputs are not as easy to call up (one touch) as i would like. You have to cycle though a list of them with an OSD rather than one touch designated buttons. Not really a problem but worth mentioning.

Also the pressure sensitive touch buttons on the front of the machine really suit it aesthetically, but in function they are almost useless. They are purposely black on black so as not to disrupt the sleek facade, but they are not backlit which means that are very hard to locate in daylight, let alone a dark room in viewing time. The buttons are very small and very close together, meaning you almost have to turn a light on to alter the sound or program if you don't have the remote.

Otherwise it's an outstanding machine that will outperform your expectations. Value, Features. Performance Internal Speakers, Remote Control, Pressure touch buttons.

Good – This LCD TV by Samsung has given me many great viewing experiences on the couch :) The marvelous imaging makes it very enjoyable to watch especially when it's something in Blueray. itself looks awesome. The Remote itself is not that convenient, the buttons are located very close together and does not make it easy when you are viewing in the dark. Overall, great TV though. Excellent – Good TV haven't had any problems with it yet, for the price it wins in both sound and picture. Honestly if you want outstanding picture get a more expensive unit, if you want better sound get EXTERNAL surround... Excellent – So far so good after 12 months. The picture is fantastic. I have had no problem with stability. Sound poor but fantastic running through a receiver and why wouldn't you want thumper sound watching videos even reqular televisions. Fantastic picture quality. I paid $2000 over 12 months ago so very affordable if you know what price to quote. Sound is as with MOST lcd's not great but I always use it with a receiver so no problem. As with most if not all lcd's CANNOT record from the unit I have to run a seperate stb to record.

The unit looks very sleek and I wasn't dissapointed with the picture.

The HDTV tuner was very easy to set up - given I've never played with this stuff before.

So far the only issue I have (all be it small and possibly not a fualt) is that the elctronic program guide can take a very long time to load completely.

The amount of inputs on this unit is great and make it a very flexible unit.

As a main focuss in this purchase was quality, I will be eager to see how this unit goes in the long run, but so far I'm impressed. Great Picture Quality

In built HDTV tuner Sound is a little muffled and doesn't seem to have a good frequency response.

Excellent – Six months it just switched itself off while we were watching it. After some very bad after sales service it is back in our living room and is working fine. Can't beat the picture qualtiy. The best picture quality! Problems 6 months in.
