Samsung R522

Excellent – I bought this on 31 Oct 2009 for $1000 at Good Guys. This is a fantastic buy, for the specs given (Celeron 2.1GbHz, 4GB RAM, 320 GB, dedicated 512MB graphics card). The keyboard and mouse track pad material is very comfortable, does not leaves visible prints. The screen is superbly clear. One thing I didn't quite like about this notebook is the fact that there are still quite some space on each side of the keyboard and those precious space is not fully utilised. Had those been utilised, the keyboard could be made larger/wider.

Overall, Samsung has done a great job in trying to penetrate Asia Pacific market, after succeding recently in the US and the Europen markets. Its price strategy does not compromise performance and quality of its product. This product is definitely worth recommending to others.
