Samsung RC710

I would recommend the SAMSUNG RC710 to anybody – I couldn't respond or comment directly to the review posted on this product, so I'll try this way... I run a medium size business and I purchased a number (9) of Samsung RC710 laptops a few years ago. I have NEVER had a problem with any of them and because of the bulk order, I was given a very good discount off the purchase price. I have called customer support a couple of times, for minor issues and received nothing but outstanding customer service. The person that initiated this review (SEE BELOW) is condemning "SAMSUNG LAPTOPS" because of one faulty item and as for the poor level of customer service and support they received, I have no doubt that it was due to a direct result of their attitude. I would recommend SAMSUNG and in particular the RC710 to anybody.

Worst experience with a laptop ever. After sales service even worse. Very rude and happy to put you on hold or blame you for the problems. Workmanship very poor. Read more

- Purchased the product. Fresh out of the box had a faulty hard drive, mouse pad did not scroll and was coming unstuck. Finally got the post box to send it away and got it back with a new hard drive, new scratches a screen border detaching from the screen and the mouse pad still faulty. More phone calls, put on hold, and even hung up on after being on hold for 20 minutes. It is amazing the info you find out after buying a certain brand. The general consensus from all computer experts was to stay away from Samsung computers. Take my advice and the advice of alot of experts and buy another brand and you will be saving yourself alot of heart ache. I have still not had the remaining problems fixed but Im not going to give into them. Take no notice of the one star rating that I gave to this product but I had to choose a star to post this comment..

1) Very much a fail of a review. Don't judge all by your experience if you had no pros than you obviously have no idea what you are talking about and should not own a laptop full stop, maybe even throw out anything electronic that you have as well. any product can have manufacturing issues, just because you got a lemon doesn't make it a bad product. I have not had a problem till months after purchase and took it to their outlet had were very polite no problems with warranty. I didn't have my phone on me but they called about six times and on the sixth i picked up for them to tell me my laptop was ready and picked it up that was only 2 days later. Very pleased with the product and service.

2) Bought mine about a year ago and have no problems at all. Great start up speed, nice big screen.

Samsung make great electronic products and this is no exception.
