Samsung Series 7 LA A750

Excellent – The Picture quality of this TV is beyond impressive; compared to others, nothing comes close. The black is perfect (not washed out like other LCD TVs) so the LED lighting source certainly does the job impeccably. I think this TV makes the usual debate between Plasma & LCD completely irrelevant; just buy one of these! The price is up there but for the technology you're getting and the 'future-proofing' of the connectivity, you're insuring yourself against having to update for a long while. We love the ability to network this TV and play videos direct from our SD card. The Picture quality is beyond impressive; you can't compare it to any other TV in the usual outlets.
The unit uses less than half of the power of all other TVs.
The user interface is EASY to navigate and intuitive.
The TV is very stylish looking with the thin panel, the clear bezel and the glossy black surround.
We just couldn't go past it for the first 2 reasons alone. NOTHING.
Yes the price is up there, but our local Harvey Norman matched an online price of $3500 for the 40 inch Series 7 with 4 year warranty (worth $499 for this TV) and bonus cable. We then got sent the Christmas deal of a free 26 inch LCD (worth $1000), so we ended up paying cheaply for this picture quality (and the TV is stylish to boot!).
*** ALSO we had absolutely NO digital channel tuning problems (in fact, we couldn't get 1 Channel 7 with our set top box, and channel 9 had a terrible reception, but the Samsung has given us perfect tuning).
OK – I was dissapointed to find out that this TV will have intermittent issues to find channel 10 signal, my two HD set top boxes do not have any issues at all in the same antenna point. LA46B750, Stylish, good picture quality. Digital tuner does not find Channel 10.
