When it is working it seems to clean the clothes well but I will never buy a samsung front loader again as it is not reliable.

Expected better wear on this bigger machine – Bought this from HN Hobart in Dec 2009. The dryer element burnt out a few years back, then the mother board the next year. The mother board has gone again in Feb 2015 and they want $550 to replace it and then only will give 3 months warranty on the repair and/or board!! shortage of maintenance hours in Hobart, so that would probably make the wait longer. Should have got extended warranty as it would still be covered. This time bought the latest 10KG Samsung washer only. Need a 10KG unfortunately !!! But took extended warranty. Hope for the best. Have a Miele and LG in Melbourne no problems

Piece of junk – Heap of scrap metal. Not worth the money,after service care is poor. It pump was first replace 8 weeks old then again 3 months old then again at 6 months here I bought new machine ( not samsung) don't waste your money time or effort on this product. Could be better – The only thing it is good at, is washing clothes. The dryer doesn't dry clothes completely, we had to buy another dryer for that. Our heating element only lasted 4 years, just out of warranty. $$ to get it replaced. The Samsung repair people are very hard to understand on the phone. It washes clothes. Not drying clothes

rough on the clothes if they are in there that long. If you put the full load in, the wash quality suffers terribly. So we are not even getting the full value of the large machine.

Clothes come out smelly mouldy the cycle after using the dryer. The time to use the dryer actually makes us not use it. Particularly on towels which still come out wet after a 3 hour cycle!!!

I am going to have to save up for a new washer and will get a separate cheap dryer which seem to dry much better and quicker. I am very upset that this appliance has only lasted 3 years. Nothing now. Bad wash quality, terrible drying time. Smells mouldy after using the dryer.

If it didn't error and jam up all the time - it might be great – Always gets errors, and jams up, water doesn't drain out and wash time and dry time is nuts! Takes hours and hours!! Would not buy again. Tech told me its our fault its playing up as we are putting dirty clothes in it. Um.... ok. Not great Samsung. The idea is great execution terrible. wash & dry cycle, plus silver wash awesome. Always gets errors, and jams up, water doesn't drain out.

Wonderful Machine – This is a fantastic large capacity front loader. The washing functions are great. The short wash is super quick and does wash very well. refreshing bedding and clothes that have been in cupboards for a while. I am a single male so the wash and drying cycles are great for me, however for a family with children the drying will delay things significantly. advise is to pay the extra for the LG model as it works brilliantly....never had a washer which cleaned so good.

Excellent – Great machine, alot of options available. The size is what won us over ... didn't need the dryer on it, but can't seem to buy a 10kg machine without a dryer built in. Also, mine came with the cabinet/drawer for it to sit on, so no need to bend over so much and my nearly 2 year old can stand and look straight in at the washing going around (free entertainment for 5 minutes at least!)

It seems very quiet. We've gone from a 7.5kg LG which even the neighbours knew when it was running, to a quiet 10kg machine ... I've even gone in to check and see if it's still running. Haven't found anything yet.

Excellent – Great machine, i love the draw that sits underneath the machine as it makes it easy to load and unload your washing.I got the black one and although it has a shine to the surface it is very easy to keep clean. them creased, uses a very small amount of water, you are able to manipulate the washing time and rinse cycles to your liking Nothing i dont like about this combo, but i do suggest you take note of the dimensions of the unit as it is quite large, measure your space before buying it

Terrible – over all i wish i never bought it.... it's [censored word removed[ and samsung are hard to deal with to try and get your money back . The 10kg size, and the time is shown on the display panel so you know how long it take till it is done. My cloths/towels come out smelling like mould after a 2 hour dry cycle, and my cloths get covered in lint when i use the washing machine after i use the drier, because there is no lint filter to clean out.

Not suitable for a large family – When I buy a washer I don't want to sit around for 1.5 hours waiting for it to wash my clothes. Forget about doing a quick wash - that will take you 50+ minutes and a silver wash well don't even think about it unless you need your clothes next week! Also has trouble effectively washing sheets.

I'm starting to get really annoyed by the tone it makes when the load is finished, really all you need is a few beeps, not a whole song! Nice colour, large capacity Washing takes forever and a day

OK – Smart looking machine, whisper quiet functions. Is the long cycle time something you have to get used to? Might try the quick wash function as a regular thing. quiet, no need to shut the laundry door anymore, either on wash or dry cycle. Only using a small amount of detergent. Haven't had opportunity yet to try all the options available. So far, no problems, but it's early days. Why do the cycles take so LONG?? May have been a mistake to replace a separate washer and dryer with this combo machine. Normal wash/dry cycle just took FIVE HOURS. That's fine if you only want to do one load a day! On one towel wash/dry cycle, towels were still damp at the end of the (very long) cycle. Ended up hanging them on the line, as a previous attempt to set the dryer for 30 mins ended up being about 50 minutes. Also you can't remove items when dryer function is on, machine thinks you are an idiot and won't know that the clothes might be hot.

OK – overall a good machine with advanced features. looks really nice and quite impressive. Very gentle on clothes but don't like the feel of towels when air dried. The large 10kgs capacity and quiet operation. Tha fact that towels come out very scratchy even with little detergent used.

Do not buy this washer / dryer! – We bought this washer dryer and have been happy with it for about 12 months. That is when all the trouble started. Good – Quite happy with this machine after 3 washes, short music after finishing is so cute. Not use so much washing power and water, but clothes are clean and fresh. Not sure what will happen in long run but at the moment I can say "I love it". Quiet and stable. Not walking around when spinning at high spin speed. Clothes come out very fresh and really dry when I set the spin speed up to 1000-1200rpm. Dryer takes more than an hour.
