Lost items – They lost belongings and boxes searched, items stolen! On receipts of our items, a whole box was missing and items missing out of a roller desk. Other items not belonging to us where in there in place. Clearly boxes opened and things mixed up between customers. Our lost items were travel souvenirs and antique toy car. I complained, they have a… Read more

flippant answer that they checked with other customers to see if our items mixed with theirs and said no, rubbish, how did I end up with items that were not mine and some if mine was missing? point is our items should NOT have been in a shared container as we paid for a single one. This is not the first have heard of this about this company. Move was full house content, QLD to TAS.

Never use this company unless you want to experience a homeless lifestyle – Uplift was on 22/03/2021 in Melbourne, and the delivery date was supposed to be 31/03/2021 in Sydney. Nothing happened on the day, and no one noticed me about the delay. I called them, and they said they have no idea where my furniture at. I asked them the approximate date of the delivery date. The answer is no idea. Then I requested compensation.… Read more

The customer relationship manager told me there is no compensation and will forward my case to the seniors. Since then, they just disappeared. Three weeks have passed now, and no senior manager ever contacted me. I tried to contact them via email several times(cc'ed both marketing@wridgways.com.au and customercare@wridgways.com.au). They never reply. I tried to call them in the office. They heard it was me then hanged me up three times. My partner and I have been sleeping on the ground with no access to many things. Wridgways have caused severe mental depression to us. We live like homeless and have no idea when my furniture will be delivered. Their customer service is 0 once you paid your money. The sales and uplift service were good. However, once you paid your money and they took your belongings, the nightmare begins. By reading other reviews, I understand that I'm not the only one being treated like this. Really disappointed as this is my first time using a removalist.

A disgrace, do not use this company!! – Unfortunately we used WridgWays to move us from Brisbane to Sydney, we had 1.5 containers. Troy Adamson, their sales rep came twice to do the inventory as we had "a lot" of items coming from 5 bed 3 living areas big home on acreage. The team that came to pack and upload, was absolutely deplorable, I cannot emphasise that enough, I have always… Read more

done our own packing but this time we booked them to do just the breakables, we cannot comprehend how a person in their right mind would pack a tea set with 1 cup in a box, 2 plates in another box, the remainder of the set split up in other boxes this created a nightmare trying to sort out their placement in a much smaller home, in addition about 90% of the boxes were labelled 'lounge ornaments' you would open a box and find shoes, a garden statue, my husband's printer; they put a glass lamp on the top of a box be bending the shade down which is now broken, a beautiful mosaic urn had only 1 butchers paper around it and it was cracked between ceramic pots, nearly all my artificial plants have leaves snapped off or are bent without any chance of going back to their original positions, our marble coffee table has its timber base missing and a glass shelf with bebbled edge that sat on our expensive handmade ceramic base is also missing, glass shelves from our display cabinet are missing but we inherited someone's double bed mattress!! Our mirror cabinet now has a crack on the side, In addition we have A LOT OF ITEMS IN BOXES STILL UNACCOUNTED FOR, we emailed them immediately and ofc there was no accountability, apology or attempt to help us because we did not take extra insurance. Totally disgusting, we now have furniture which we can't use or sell DO NOT USE THIS SHOCKING PEOPLE

Mighty moving men – Nathan and Caleb from WridgWays moved a room full of boxed and other items to be taken to Perth. They had been working most of the day when they arrived and yet remained cheerful. I felt I needed to thank them publicly as they are such hard working and helpful young men. Being a removalist certainly wouldn't be an easy job. Well done Wridgways for employing the best.

Five star service! – I cannot speak highly enough of WridgWays. I completed a complex interstate move, with unanticipated long-term storage in the interim. located on the third floor of my building, accessible by a tight stairwell only. This was no problem for the crew. My goods were stored safely and securely at WridgWays warehouse. When it came time to retrieve them, my delivery requirements had changed. WridgWays worked with me to amend the terms. They were more than fair. Upon arrival the delivery team was just as fast and friendly as the pick-up crew had been. Nothing was damaged or missing. When they had finished unloading the team even helped me haul a load of junk to the local tip for disposal. I could not have asked for better service and support. It's a Big SCAM – I booked a relocation of my household stuff (2 bedroom & study) with WridgWays removalists from Seven Hills to Glenwood on 15/06/21. It was booked almost a month in advance. payment of $2200 on 28/05/21 through a bank transfer. Nobody turned up for the relocation on the mentioned date and I was not able to contact anyone through emails or by phone on the date of booking. Later on, I got a reply that my booking was cancelled due to unavailability of trucks. Due to this, I had to book a different removalist and had to pay extra and had to go through significant financial & mental trauma. I requested a refund of my money. For the last month, I have sent multiple emails to multiple people (including case officer, manager, financial officer, and CEO) regarding the refund, but I never got any satisfactory reply. Avoid this company at all costs!! – We made the mistake of contracting with Wridgways Removalists to ship our furniture from WA to NSW. NEVER AGAIN! us the shipment hadn't even left Perth and wasn't going to be shipped for another 2 weeks! The WA Area Manager eventually offered apologies and to put us up in a motel for two weeks until our shipment arrived, and to process a $500 refund. When our shipment finally arrived in NSW (the container hadn't been cleaned and our furniture was filthy) and we checked out of the motel, the Wridgways Credit Card bounced and we had to pay the bill ourselves! Two months later, we still haven't received the $500 refund - the WA Area Manager has quit, the Accounts Dept. ignores our calls and emails, the "Customer Service" agent says they won't answer her email either! NOTHING this company has done showed that they were capable of effective, efficient or professional service. Use them at your own risk! Avoid them at all costs.

Do Not Give Money To This Company – It's business as usual for this company if you view their website or Facebook page and they still have a sales department! We engaged Wridgways in… Read more

late May to move our household contents from Perth to QLD. Our goods were collected on June 2 and we were advised it would take 10 to 15 working days. Thank goodness we decided to drive over. At least we have a car to our name.

The company representative responsible for our move left the company a week after our goods were collected and another person was assigned to our move. We tried to make contact with this person for days but messages and emails went unanswered. A week later (on the est arrival date of our storage container) we got a call letting us know our move had been delayed but that was all. No idea where it was or what the hold up was about. It took several more phone calls later to learn that our container hadn't even left Perth. By this stage we were already in our new rental in QLD sleeping in an empty house on a camping mattress with our 10yr old child.

It seems Wridgways have gone into liquidation (or that they owe lots of people money and can't afford to pay it) and the rail service that is responsible for moving our belongings to Perth is winding up their operations with Wridgways so I guess our container isn't going to leave Perth in a hurry.

To cut a long story short between the intermittent communication and misinformation, 5 weeks down the track we still have no idea when our furniture is going to leave Perth and arrive at our new home in QLD.

We've sought assistance from the Dept of Consumer Affairs and Protection in WA who are looking to put together a case for us but we aren't holding our breath.

For anybody else in the same situation, we got 2 weeks temp accommodation paid by Wridgways 10 days ago (although that ends in a few days) and have been advised to try to extend that AS OPPOSED to buying new furniture as it's less likely we'll receive monetary compensation.

I truly feel for everybody else in our shoes as I know we aren't the only ones who have been robbed and left to suffer at the hands of this unscrupulous company.

Needless to say we are in total limbo now paying $500/week rent for an empty unit with no idea what will come of our shipping container worth of belongings.

If you are reading this and have booked and paid for a move with Wridgways, and they have yet to collect your stuff I'd seriously consider cancelling the move and going with another company (even if it means being out of pocket).

We have lost the $5100 we paid for the move and seemingly the $50000+ in contents that is still sitting in a Perth storage facility.

For a company who continues to advertise that they are operating as usual this is a total disgrace and a blatant lie! Do not part with your money or else risk loosing everything.

Wridgways - By far the worst company in the industry (absolutely disgraceful!) – What a nightmare using Wridgways! (or trying to) 100% avoid this company at all cost (if they still even exist as a company) and the management team just do not care about their customers at all. We had an interstate move booked in several months in advance with Wridgways. 2 business days prior to our move, we receive a brief email from the… Read more

sales rep advising they can no longer do our interstate move.

We had paid in full one week prior. We had also confirmed with them 4 or 5 times in the 2 weeks leading up to the move and had it in writing many times our moved was booked in and our uplift and delivery dates were all confirmed.

Due to being an interstate move, we had many things booked in as a result at our new property and moving this date was not an option for us. When we received the brief email advising they can't do moves at the moment I called up our sales rep to ask if it was April Fools. It wasn't. He advised that they couldn't do any moves not booked in as they were moving depos.

When I advised our moved WAS in fact booked in and confirmed many times in writing, he said there was nothing he could do.

I asked for his managers number which he gave me but warned his manager is unlikely to answer. Spot on! His manager didn't answer and then did not respond to a text message asking for a call back to please explain and help book the job in. Also ignored my emails. This is pathetic service.

I called the sales rep again and said I was happy to help solve their problems. I said if their problem was no depot, I can provide a storage space at our own warehouse in NSW or VIC. That didn't help.

He then said they have no trucks.... So I said I can arrange an empty truck to be there.... All I need Wridgways to action is to pack out house and load as per our contract and agreement.

That didn't help.

He then said they also don't have cardboard boxes!!

I said with the $5000+ I have already paid you, go down to Office Works and buy some boxes! It really isn't hard.

He said they just can't help.

I then had to scramble and call a competitor up to book in with them. We found a great company (5 min google search but with brilliant reviews online) who were able to get a truck to our place on the day we had originally booked in with Wridgways and that company was excellent (imove.com.au - absolutely saved the day!)

But we had then incurred 2 moving company costs paid in full.....

You would think Wridgways would then refund you in full same day or within a couple of days max.... Nope - I have sent 20+ emails and many phone calls and not once have their management team responded to the email and I have been emailing the CEO / CFO / COO / Area Manager - the whole management team.

It is pathetic service that not one of them had the decency to call up and apologise to a repeat customer. Managers are gutless hiding behind a company name and email account.

We have been waiting several weeks now for a refund, for a job that they cancelled on us! Tip - customers should not have to chase you for a refund for a job you cancel.

After reading other reviews about Wridgewyas now I am just grateful this company never did our move as it seems they have either stolen or lost many people's whole container of household belongings.

Stay away from Wridgways!

- They are unable to do their core business of moving people's homes and belongings - They do not care about their customers at all! (not once did a manager respond to us or apologize for the stress caused) - They do not process refunds

Amazing how bad this company is.

This company must be going into liquidation. If they are not, they will be soon based on how they are treating their customers and trashing their brand in the process.

Not impressed at all. Could not have been a worse experience.

Ongoing Ordeal with Wridgways – We contracted Wridgways and paid them in advance on May 10 to move our household items from NSW to Victoria. and to his GM to discuss the matter went unanswered. With the handover of our house to the agent for final inspection by the buyer already scheduled on May 19 we were really caught in a bind. While their customer rep informed us via SMS that we need to first fill up a refund form which we duly accomplished on the same day, as of today June 1 we have not received the refund despite repeated follow ups. Because of this we suffered a lot of emotional and mental stress trying to find another removalist in such short notice and ended up incurring more expenses. The least that Wridgways can do is to refund immediately the payment for the service which they failed and refused to render!

Sydney local scheduler however at 5.30pm the day before the scheduled delivery they advised in an email that the delivery would not go ahead. This SMS was received and just said that that WridgWays would be unable to complete the delivery due to "unexpected access issues'. After further emails and phone calls we were then told that delivery would be scheduled in another "2 weeks or so". This has left myself in another state with only a suit case and needing to pay for rent of a apartment I cannot live in, extend temporary accommodation, only being able to buy meals as I have no kitchen appliances, book further days off work to accommodate the new 'yet to be scheduled' delivery date and delay flights for my partner and dog to come live with me. All I can do at this time is to do my best to get the word out where I can to anyone considering using WridgWays to look elsewhere. This company is dodgy to say the absolute least!
