Loved my sanyo SC5006 – EXCELLENT value for money, worked mine like a trojan, love the turbo head does a fantastic job, sadly mine died and i am now looking for another model the same. the down side it is almost impossible to get bags to fit it except from sanyo themselves. i bought 5 boxes of bags and now have no cleaner hence why i am looking for the exact same model easy to use, compact, strong suction, brilliant turbo head pulling the wand out of the turbo head to many times makes the turbo head break apart and too hard to find bags for except from sanyo
I was a former sanyo hater – It sucks alright, with the sanyo edge grabber it sucked more pet hair than my $700 dyson. 11 months and not 1 problem at all, i hated sanyo products till i purchased this vacuum cleaner, i am also 199cm tall and have no problem using it as it has a telescopic vacuum steel pole that extends height for tall and short people. unlike some vacuums this one sucks pet hair with no effort. vacuum hose little bit fiddly, but something i got used too.
Terrible – Do not buy this piece of junk! You will be wasting your money. It simply does not do the job. NOTHING!!!! This is the worst vac I have ever used. Poor suction. Cheap and nasty crevice tool/brush combination. The head constantly blocks up. Cord is too short. Replacement bags are hard to find. Noisy. The list goes on....
Doesn't suck unless the bag is less than half empty and at $3 per replacement bag ( target) works out expensive. Was bought to get rid of dog hairs, better off using tweezers, it would be quicker, absoutely overpriced rubbish, stay clear of this one!!!!!!! Ps. yes the cord is way too short.
This is the first time i have ever commented on a product solely cause it is so bad. i agree with you all, i received this as a moving in gift from my mother. It has absolutely no sucking power and after 4 months the brush inside stopped rotating all together. i have thrown it in the bin. what a waste of money - i certainly wont be purchasing Sanyo again.
Terrible – This is the worst vaccuum cleaner I have ever had. I can't wait until my husband buys a new one. We will never buy Sanyo products again! I don't like anything about the vaccuum cleaner. This vaccuum doesn't suck any particles up off the floor. I have to take the head off and use only the tube when I clean which is not only irritating but a long process. I have to bend over and this results in me getting a sore back.
