SHE Health Club

Do not join this gym!! – To begin with it sounds nice, women's only Healthclub.. Do not be fooled it has a male personal trainer/owner who is not only rude and inappropriate in many ways (including commenting on your weight and size in a very judge mental way) He alone is reason to steer clear believe me. They also have male instructors, nice people but if I'm going to a "women's only" club this defeats the purpose and exclusivity that originally would have swayed my decision in choosing this horrendous club over others with better facilities and management. The instructors and pt trainers are lovely but he (said owner) fires and employs new staff so frequently it's hard to get a sense of stability, same goes with the timetable frequent changes to classes and times make it near impossible to plan or organize your training! I'm now at Virgin and the amount of money I was paying at this horrible gym is much better spent here! PLEASE do yourself a favor and choose one of the many other options you have available in the CBD because you will be very disappointed here.
Expensive, unfriendly, male owner/pt/instructors, old equipment, constant change in staff/timetable
Worst Experience of My Life – I dont know where to start! I strained my back on one of the machines because i didnt know how to use it, i asked at reception if i could get an induction round the gym, she advised me that i had to "pay" even though when i signed up a got "two free" PT sessions which were nothing more than weighing me and measuring me. Ridick!! I have yet to be shown to work any of the gym equip. Thank god I know my way round a treadmll!
The machines all appear to be salvaged from a scrap yard, decades old, ive never had so many shin spints from running on a treadmill before, the TV screens dont work, no air con or fans worth a mention, the weights area fits Two people at any one time, the place stinks, the toilets are Disgusting, showers must only be cleaned once a century, there is stuff growing up out of the walls, its totally gross, the staff are so false you get this "Hi" from the receptionist who doesnt even look up form her desk when u sign in, its such a weird place!
And for the price of it you can get Platinum membership at fitness first George Street, which is literally across the road!! The owner guy is Ruthless if you miss a payment you get hounded with emails and debt collection letters, if you are in his way when hes doing a PT session you'll know all about it - and he likes to use up space.
Word of warning do not try spin class unless u want a broken shoulder, the bikes are falling to bits, again these must have been purchased from a scrap yard, first time i got on the handle bars wouldnt lock in nor the seat, second time the grip on the pedal fell off. Stil have a back injury from the strain. Such a horrible, strange, dangerous place Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!
Debt collectors, ancient equipment, pressure to buy PT session, unfriendly staff, classes always cancelled last minute, stinks, showers and toilets are disgusting, same price as a premium gym - fitness first which is like a spa experience in comparison
Warm and friendly environment, excellent facilities – I have been a member for almost 1,5 years now. What I like about the gym is its size: it is small, but in the same time it offers a great variety in classes and equipment. The people at SHE are very friendly. It is a warm and nice environment to do your workout at your leisure. 4 weeks ago I started with a personal training program. My trainer is lovely (and driven!) and I can already see the results! I would definitely recommend this gym. Friendly, great variety 'simply pick out and chose', convenient More expensive than some other gyms
Excellent – Caring staff, not like most gyms, womens only gives a nice environment. The individual T.Vs on the treadmills is great very clean, lots of equipment, good staff not open on Sundays
