which was is what we wanted as we tend to accumulate paper before shredding it. It also allows us to shred at the same time. As there are 9 people working in our practice we never know who may use the shredder and for how long and was worried about the motor overheating. All Kobra Shredders come with 24 hour continuous motors we were told so we are happy with this too. It's a great shredder does exactly what we want.

secured a decent discount for purchasing 3 items and got free delivery. I recieved all three items within the week. I bought a Kobra +2 CC2 Shredder, a smaller Fellowes shredder and a Fellowes Plasma Guillotine (which is excellent by the way).

Unfortunately twhen we unpacked the Fellowes there was a small crack in the box. After tallking with [name removed] he arranged to have this immediately picked up and a replacement was sent within two days at no extra cost with a Free bottle of shredder oil. using a shredder service but, after research we decided we would keep this inhouse.

The Kobra 260 TS C4 is a Cross Cut Shredder which is 100% Jam Proof with a large 85 ltrs high quality steel cabinet and 260mm throat which means it can take computer sized print outs. This is probably overkill as we mostly shred A4 but just incase we have requirements to shred larger paper we went for this to be on the safe side.

Prior to having a Kobra shredder we had a Fellowes shredder. Although I liked the Fellowes shredder at the time there is absolutely no comparison now. The Kobra feels much stronger, reliable and the quality is excellent. It's like a Rolls Royce compatred to our last shredder.

I dealt with a chap called Peter Murphy. He was knowledgeable, provided a quick turnaround with our quote and gave us a price lower than the other quotes we recieved and we never even had to ask him to discount it as he did a great deal for us. I hate playing ping pong with salesmen so this impressed me enough to choose Shredders Direct as our supplier. After checking a few details we placed the order. I orderd the shredders on a Friday and both were delivered and installed on the Monday. I was thoroughly pleased so when Peter asked me if I would be kind enough to write a review here I said I would. Henna the saleswoman was very helpful and went through my requirements. After talking with her we agreed that the Kobra 245 Touch Screen shredder sounded the most suitable for us as it was easy to operate with its touch screen panel, could take up to 27 sheets in one feed which was important to us as we shred everything at the end of the day and it had a bin capacity of around 40 litres enough to meet our requirements for the night and to empty afterwards. We even got a 10% discount simply by asking if she could do a deal for us!! It's very easy to use, turns on automatically when you put paper into the mouth, and has castors to move it around the office
