Most comfortable pram to push and for baby – We wanted a good pram that was comfortable for our baby and us to push as I like to walk very where. We were not disappointed at all. We paid good money and defiantly got our moneys worth. The best thing was that we had the option to have our baby facing us or outwards, as the handle flipped over and could be adjusted to a comfortable hight for the person pushing the pram. The lining and covers were great protection during the winter, soft and warm and were very easy to remove and wash. The carry basket was strong and very handy. The pram then turned into a strong stroller and the thicker wheels glided over the bumps with ease.

The bonus was that it came with a nappy bag that matched the pram.

We love this pram! Comfortable for your child and to walk with. A little heavy to lift in and out of a car

Good – Overall, we are happy with this pram, but in hindsight, it would have been good to test it first. We bought it online for around $300, down from $900. We are also expecting our second baby, which means we will have two 13 months apart. A toddler seat would have been useful. If you like a more old-fashioned style of pram with the classic X chassis, that you don't mind having to push down to turn, then you will love this pram. We rarely take it in the car, and use it to walk everywhere in the town we live. For that purpose, it is excellent. If I had to fold it up every day, or use public transport, it would not be very practical. This pram has been great for our baby. We wanted a pram that could be fully reclined, and we also wanted a four wheeler. The large wheels can handle any terrain without any trouble, the basket underneath is large and strong. We often walk to the shops and load it with groceries. The boot cover and sleeping bag were great for winter in Tasmania - very cosy. We also like the classic look of the pram and very little can go wrong with it, in fact nothing has. it is narrower than many prams so we have no trouble going through regular check-outs, doorways etc. I know many prams out now have to use the wheelchair check-out. Maneuverability is a little difficult in tight spaces as the wheels do not swivel. To face the baby away from you, you have to detatch the entire top section, which is quite heavy with the baby in it. To fold it, the two sections need to be separated and they are quite bulky, taking up the entire boot of our car, which is not small. When the older baby is in the upright position, the straps are in the wrong place, so our boy slides down and looks rather uncomfortable. The strap which goes between the legs cannot be tightened, and the straps around his middle do not tighten enough to hold him in. There is no option for a toddler seat with any of the Silvercross prams. There is also no storm cover or shade/mosquito cover that comes with this particular style, and no option of purchasing them separately. We found a Bertini storm cover that fits. We also bought a padded insert for use in summer, as the sleeping bag is too warm, and the pram seat itself is not very soft - a bit plastic. Both of the press studs which hold the boot cover on broke off after 8 months use, but were easily and cheaply replaced by an upholsterer.
