This mattress weighs an absolute ton so it can be very difficult to move around. It's a minimum of two people of reasonable strength to set it up and indeed to move it in any way in the future. compared to my old matress now. It amazes me how stable the surface is with no movement to anywhere else on the matress that you're not applying force to. Two people can definitely move without disturbing each other. I'm pretty sold on the matress now though I wish it wasn't so incredibly heavy, fine if you don't need to lift it or move it. Otherwise, I love it!

read somemore reviews and noticed reviews about sagging and heat. I raised these with their phone consultant. With sagging she stated there's a 10year warrenty. Another consultant told me sleeping pregerances change, that its not the mattress. Strange as its meant to be an adjustable mattress. In regard to heat she asked me do I sweet in bed. I said no. She didn't say the mattress is hot or it's a common complaint. Asking me if I sweet in bed made me think the reviews I read were the people not the mattress. I purchased the mattress and without fail I wakeup between 2am and 3am because of the heat this mattress gives off. This is cold Melbourne in July! After trying the mattress for over 40days its not for us. You call them they tell you to take the mattress proctector off because it retains heat. We never had one on the bed. Go into a mattress shop and no one else selling a mattress tells you this. The mattress sleeps hot. We were told to try it as a firm. This tells me its not an adjustable mattress. The soft and medium sleeps hot but if you sleep on the firm it might be ok? Might as well just buy a standard mattress. I'm 55 years old and have never used a boxed mattress before and never will again. Ive never experienced a mattress that produces and retains heat like this does. We have returned the mattress and are awaiting refund.

decided we want more room, so I’m returning our current mattress purely to upgrade to a King and will be ordering another Sleeping Duck.

I also have to mention the customer service because it has genuinely been wonderful. Organising the return has been incredibly easy, communication has been friendly and helpful, and at no point have I felt like they were making the process difficult just because I was using the trial/return policy. Considering mattress returns can be a bit of a process, I’ve been really impressed with how straightforward they’ve made everything.

So, despite technically being a “returning customer,” I’m definitely not leaving Sleeping Duck, I’m just coming back with a bigger bed

frame, but we are still astounded at the quality of the mattress. We weren't sure whether we needed a KING!- but Oh Boy- yes it takes up a lot of room, but it's so nice to stretch out! PLUS and I guess this is what most people are interested in, the mattress itself is fabulous. We went with the firm on one side- medium on the other. I like firm, but I was a little unsure if it might be too firm. IT IS PERFECT. My wife likes the medium, and when I lie on it- I think- yeah I could sleep really well on that too! So far we have turned the mattress once and unzipped the top cover to switch the inserts to the other side- all worked as expected. There was a lot of discussion in forums about not being able to lift the corners to put the sheets on??? What- I don't think that at all. I was prepared to do this if it came down to it- however my wife did it easily! I know the mattress is not a 'budget' offering, but in this case you really do get what you pay for. it could be too hard, but no issues after a week. We now both love the firm mattress. We were initally concerned about assemblying ourselves, but no issue at all as long as there are 2 of u. The bed frame is incredibly solid and strong. We are awaiting the auto sheet refresh module, which was not available at the time of ordering. Given the weight of the mattress, we consider this is essential to make it easy to change sheets. We highly recommend the bed & mattress at what we consider to be a reasonable price.

I wasn't sure whether to get a firm or medium mattress, I have back issues and am a side sleeper. I went with firm, knowing it could be changed if it wasn't working for me. It took me a few weeks to get used to it, but I am very happy, sleeping well and my back feels good. It is very comfortable while still being supportive. Overall very pleased with the sleeping duck mattress. They were quick to respond and send out different firmness section when requested, but if you didn't know it was available to ask, I couldn't find that much info on how to customise it to my preference. have given a good review back then. But after that, and conveniently after to trial period, the mattress deteriorates fast. It begins to sag and you can visually see the sagging when you take off the foam layers.

It has destroyed my back, and my partners back. I wake up in pain most nights and can barely walk. I have seen a physio, but we have to replace this mattress. We have all the different foams, firm, medium, soft, and the little ones you can put together. Nothing changes the issue. But I can see the sagging underneath, so it looks like some of the springs have collapsed.

So, please look at the bad reviews before making this decision. Look at how long the person has had the mattress. Those who have had it less than a year haven't experienced the real poor quality yet.

replacement foam layer, do any maintenance or spend any extra. It still in perfect condition and feels as good as the day we bought it. I've always been around 90 to 95 kg since we've owned it and I still love it. They say you get what you pay for well we have got plenty more than what we payed for as the mattress was very well priced for the incredible quality and build, the fact we've had ours this long and it's looking like we will get another 10 years we have saved so much money as a result. Best money we ever spent. We've also moved home twice and it's got convenient strong handles in good positions to easily move and carry it.
