What a disaster! – Our King sized City Plush is a huge disappointment. My partner & I both have delicate backs & wanted a reasonably soft but supportive mattress. Within 3 weeks sleeping hollows formed that we thought would plump back up - they didn't! After 6 months we can no longer roll into the centre of the bed at all, due to the enormous hill in the centre - I find that I am experiencing muscle pain from bracing myself against the slope in my sleep. Will relish the day I take it to the dump & get a new not Sleepmaker mattress but I will have to save up another $1600 first.

Foam top went saggy in about 3 weeks

Don't want to get out of bed! – I have had this mattress for a couple of years now and I love it. I don't have a bad back though. It is soft which is what I like about it and I haven't had any problems with the sheets not fitting. You can buy fitted sheets with a deeper drop for pillowtop mattress's. Overall I think it was a bargain at $1200. Value for money, very comfortable. Nothing yet.

So disappointed – I purchased a queen size. It is deeper than a standard size mattress so the fitted sheets don't fit - they only cme half way down the side of the mattress and by morning they've edged up and come off. Similarly the mattress protector won't fit and my very expensive electric blanket doesn't at all. I've had the mattress for just over a month and already can feel a hollow forming where I sleep. Very very disappointed with it. The conundrum is whether to cut my losses and buy another mattress (and it won't be a sleemaker) or stick it out and buy a whole new set of sheets etc etc in king size?

I went to Snooze to buy a Sealy Bed and told the Salesperson I had a bad back and needed support, she steered me towards a Sealy and this Sleepmaker bed as they were on sale. I unfortuntely choose the Sleepmaker only because the Sealy did not have the firm sides...What a mistake! Not only did it arrive with threads hanging off it everywhere that i had to cut them off, but I have had the worst sleep for years and finished up with a backache by 4.00a.m. and had to get up and take painkillers.

I have phoned Snooze this morning and the girl told me that it the Salesperson who sold the bed was not in today and that she would phone me tomorrow, but that it usually takes 2 weeks to get use to a new bed. I told her that because of my bad back and no support from this mattress that I would not be able to get use to it, so am awaitng the outcome.

I also asked to see the spring base of all the mattresses that I looked at and was shown one, but cannot feel any springs in this mattress only foam?

I have just purchased this bed and told the Salesperson that I had a bad back and wanted firm support. The bed was delivered yesterday and I had the worst night's sleep in a long time waking at 4.00a.m. with an a backache.

I phoned Snooze this morning saying how disappointed I am with the bed and as the salesperson who sold me the bed was not there, they said they would get her to phone me tomorrow.

I do hope that i can change this bed for another, as I know I will not get use to it as it is way too soft and no support for my back.
